I'll certainly by fighting for every thousandth like I usually do, but it's even nice now that we have the US to compete against :)! As well as the rest of the countries!
 
Guys I have a question. Now I'm not in my country so I can't take part at the gt Academy until the 19 of may. My dad downloaded the demo and he is playing. My question is: these first two weeks and half can influence the final top 16 or not? And can I repeat the steps when they are finished or not? I ask this because my father is not good at gt and I want to qualifying for the national final as I did last year. Thanks in advance for the answer.

Oh my.... day zero of GT academy. Downloading that 3GB file will take forever! And if you are right, also installation will take the rest of the evening. I fear I'll have to wait for tomorrow :lol:

I'm .002 behind at 20 tries overall than a guy that tried 50

There is a long list of countries in the nation ranking too. Including many that aren't part of the actual academy afaik..

Can you check for Croatia, please.

I am downloading the demo from the UK Store because it is not available in Croatian Store.

However, somebody said earlier that you can't use the demo with another account than one you've downloaded the game with.

If Croatia is there, than I will wait for demo to appear in our Store.

Thank in advance to all who will take time to check existence of Croatia on national leaderboards!

These count only as a preliminary "filter", and you only need bronzes in all 5 tests of a given round to progress to the next one, which is probably very easy.

If you have all bronzes in all tests, then you will be able to compete in GT Academy proper when it starts, some time after the 24th of June.

All the rounds (once they're open) will stay open until the 24th of June, too, so you can go back and improve as you want, or even start on the 24th itself and do them all in one day, if you want.

Ok golded everything, it's pretty easy, there was one challenge where I had a tiny trouble but I got it done. Now to get on top tho it's not that easy XD

No problem! However, I was mistaken, in order to progress you need to finish in the top 16 for your region in round eight (so before midnight BST on the 24th of June) in order to advance to the next stage.

And you will need to have done some serious honing as things will get very interesting in the very final event of the eighth round.

This is where you will have to show your game face. Pull out all the stops in this final event and place within the top 16 places, then you’re in with a chance of progressing to the National Final event in July, the Silverstone Racecamp in July and the the Driver Development Programme from September to December, all culminating the starting grid for the Dubai 24HR race for one skilled driver.

Very strange that it's left out, along with several other east european countries, when random middle east countries are on.

The tab states to go to grand turismo.com to see details of how to collect your winnings LOL (Cars) But there is no sign of them or any info as yet.
 
i wouldnt get too excited guys. its just more driving tests like we already have in game. round 1 and 2 each have 5 stages. round 1 you use the leaf. round 2 you use silvia. i had one go on each and plan on deleting the data from my ps3.
