Hi folk been out and done some reading round the forums.?
Not going to be good news is this one.:) (For the collectors out there.)

Now the first LINK shows an ACURA NSX 91 Premium and standard. Number 7

So now we have witnessed the NEW TVR Tuscan and Tamora are we going to be subjected to more surprizes in the OCD.

Number 120 shows a Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69
Has it stands at the moment MYGT does NOT show a standard car for this but the LINK shows an Premium and standard?

Would like to say that Mygranturismo is keeping up to date with there site and there links have now the standard counterparts of these once premium cars.:D

I have only pointed out a couple of the cars on the list but am guessing some one else could do a little looking and write the others in.:D

Plus what happens with the tickets out there which provide these cars do you have to hope or wish that we get a standard or a premium.?

Please note that since the discussion started its been pointed out that these cars have always exsisted and could be imported from a PSP.
But unavailable in GTmode and only accessible in the arcade mode of the game.

"*When the car is included in both models, the Standard version can be imported from Gran Turismo for PSP®."

I will not update the above list with any new updates when or if we get any more standards into the OCD which are only available has premiums has of 14/09/2012.
Its just to show what has already arrived and what maybe expected.:D

Does anybody know if those PSP imports are tradeable? I would love a standard GT-R SpecV (R35) '09 because I try to collect all R35 versions that exist in GT5. But I don't have a PSP and probably won't buy one now just to get hold of some more standards.

I'd also love a standard Enzo but since that one's not tradeable I will probably never get one... then again I can buy a Premium one anytime so I probably won't miss it anytime. :P

I really hope so, we'll have a lot of frenzy going on in the marketplace then. We're mostly collectors there from what I've seen.

At least finding christara321 always on top of my friends list leaderboard I guess he has time to drive seriously from time to time - except them dirty lobbies around witching hour. :lol:

About the 'PSP thingy' - well, like the official car list says on top (it's even in your screenshot, look above first car), that is the normal way you can get these standard versions into your GT5 garage; buying them on GT PSP and than importing them (that's an option somewhere in the menus, never really bothered since I don't own a PSP). They are not available in the UCD, and this week is the first time some of them appear on the OCD.

It's no kind of crazy tricks or anything, the cars are just there since release of the game but aren't very popular or well known to the public.

Yes but thats why I made the thread. If 2 new standards appear in the OCD are we to get the rest of the standards at a later date.?

A year on and this OCD as thrown them into the game which appears to be the very first time any one has noticed, Apart from importing them from a PSP?

EDIT: @ All, This could simply be PD/Sony taking out the middle man who may of imported the standards into the game through PSP and now placing them in the OCD themselves for the rest who can not be bothered to get them the other way.?
(Well 2 of them in the form of Tuscan and Tamora?)

I would say that PD had the standard models of these cars to begin with. They remodeled them for GT5, making the standards useless, so they were made inaccessible as soon as they were finished, i.e. they were excluded from the UCD list, so noone had any possibility to get them in their garage, but they stayed in the final build. (probably they just forgot to remove them)

How they do the OCD: Most of the times they refresh the OCD, it's with a theme, like "all standards from certain manufacturers". This time, the theme is "TVR", so the guy, who was substituting for the regular guy who knows what to do, but is on a vacation, just took all TVR-standards available and put them in the OCD, and thus opening the possibility to buy and get them in your garage.

There is no problem at all with this, because the cars were in the game to begin with, and they are different than the premiums, just with the same name.

Same thing was already there with the 2 versions of the Jaguar XJR-9 LM Race Car '88, only that there was only the standard from the beginning, and the premium added as DLC. They can peacefully coexist.

Finally, that carlist from PD is wrong as every car listed as both "P" & "S" only exists as a premium. The standards might exist in the code, but with no way for you to access it (unless someone at PD makes a mistake and includes them in the OCD again).
 
Oh dam it seems there is some misunderstanding or mis-use of the title of this thread.
So here go,s hopefully I can try and clear this up.?

We all know the basics of a game. Someone writes a computer programme and then when applied in what ever system it gets executed to produce it on your screen.

Well when GT5 was written they must of included in that programme every single model of car they desired to place inside that game.
Some were Premuim some standards.
They decide on that and what will be will be.:D

Anyway since its conception the TVR Tusacn and Tamora in question on this link @ 1047 an 1048 were placed in the game as premiums. Although a standard was probably written in some code of sorts. And Only available by importing from PSP? (Apparently. Not tried by me so thats my opinion and understanding)

Until recently thats where people are misunderstanding the point of the title, these cars are now appearing as standards in the current OCD.
Now the context I wrote this in was the way they have implented these car into the game.
Whether you consider them NEW or not its irrelevent, Just like a LINK Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 '65.
It is NOT new its only some where round 50 years old and appears in a what gets called the NEW car dealers?
Presumably given this name because we have a Used cars dealers? So by having that the NEW car dealers was presumably born?

So please no more on whether they are new or not what am saying is we maybe/might be subjected to more standard cars in our OCDs, which maybe PSP, NEW, OR EVEN OLD WRITTEN COMPUTER LANGUAGE into our OCDs?

Thats the point of the thread. The links showing in the OP that some cars created before we saw this game on our shelves were a premium and a standard model?
Firstly the new is how they are coming into the game now?
Which also to me makes them NEW because until they decide on putting them like the 2 TVRs in our OCD there,s no way to get them?
Apart from finding some one to import them from a PSP for me?
Thats regardless of what ever computer language is written already or what was written many moons ago by PD/Sony.

I can say I ha e all of the psp GT cars in arcade mode because I imparted them. Would be cool to use online though!

On a serious note, it is odd. Even at the top of the list, it states that if a car is both, it can be imported as a standard car from GTPSP. It just weird that PD would throw it in the OCD though - perhaps we may finally obtain those cars and keep them without needing a PSP?

Yes mate looks like we are going to get them coming into the OCD in bits and eventually looks like they maybe more to come?
NEW PSP Chevy Camaro Z28 '69 which is a premium now can be had as a standard in are garage.:D
Also we have a Number 549 on the chart Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe '54 which is another premium thats now in the game has a standard? (Without having to import from a PSP?) Plus from reading about when they were imported in the past the imports only played in arcade mode but now they are availale in GT5 main game.?
