That looks tight. đź‘Ť The pic. Double post was a rookie move.

:P

Edit: I ordered this tonight for $8.88. I recommend it. REALLY wanted a silver one(my favorite stock Porsche, all-time), but for nine bucks, I'm willing to settle here.

I actually like it in the red, bargain aswell. đź‘Ť
The Tomi 930 is an awesome! car (probably one of the best casts compared to others) having said that, i actually like the Yatming cast aswell... HW's and Corgi casts though are terrible.

Cheers but the 928 looks better outside the package, now all i need is to find another reasonably priced one so i can do a custom... the yellow interior and wheels have to go.

Custom on a car like that should be interesting.

Funny deal on the Porsche I got from eBay. I see two order confirmation email from the same seller. I thought the guy duplicated emails? I also bought this car earlier, it's the same frigging seller! eBay's huge. What are the odds?

I'm thinking the Bentley's your next Kenmeri. I run into them all the time over here now. Like I said in the past, they didn't impress me at all in person, so I decided against getting it. You won't get disappointed by MB Exige though. The car is marvy!

Well...it's probably one of their more realistic castings, so that's why I'd like to get it. The Kenmeri was indeed hard to find, until I stopped by the Dollar Tree for the first time and found four of them! :dopey: Though, the Hakosuka was much harder to find, only found two of them.

As for the MB Exige, I already have one with the more common wheels, don't know the name, but they're not that great to look at. Meanwhile, the 5-spokes are so much more attractive! đź‘Ť for those wheels, I'd love to see more of those than the uglier...common ones.

AOS - will be back soon, buddy, just flying through before I settle the day down and make some time to come over.
The jelly in this thread is now waist deep, damn you all. :)

Why are they so expensive?!
I'm no expert, but I think it's because: a) they were limited release b) discontinued

If I was rich, I'd still have bought them. I checked out their silver 930(I ended up getting similar, but 'red' from eBay). For $16, I wanted to see if they shipped overseas, but they have only domestic shipping information, so it doesn't look like they ship to the States.

I went through three Walmart this morning. I COULD NOT SLEEP! Anywho, I did not see a single Bentley today. :P They did have relatively untouched dump bins & pegs though:

Celica casting might be right up there with the 510/Bluebird. S. E. X. Y. I honestly think all it takes is a wheel swap with some rubber tire ones, and it would be game over. I don't know about you guys, but I think Hot Wheels really messed up with the 2002, which like you guys, I am a huge fan of. It's really tall & awkward to me. This new Mini is WAY better than I thought. I refrained from buying a spare.

You know, because the track cuts off. I thought it was at least going to be a loop, maybe more. :embarrassed:

Have you found that Toyota off-road truck yet? Also, this morning, I saw some weird construction machine. It's very rare. Out of three Walmart, I saw total of two. Celicas, I must saw about ten? Clubman Mini was also rare, I only saw probably about four, five.

Ok, so i thought id share my collection with you guys

My Redline collection:

Now for the good part:

Make a wish, a charity that gives sick children one "wish" to do whatever they desire, I Got one of these, and being a Hotwheels fanboy, i decided i wanted to create my own hotwheels car.

so i designed this:

After being built in the hotwheels plant, it turned out pretty well.

That. Is a spaceship.

:P

Isn't that Bus supposed to be really valuable?

Edit: I see a truck I almost ordered in the front right corner!

Yes, I know its a space ship but I was 9 so gimme a break!

and yes, I payed 50$ to a guy at a garage sale, then took it to my hobby shop and had it appraised at $800-1000

EDIT- Does anyone else here collect redlines?

Holy frikkin' Batman, Theace37.. . .

Do you even know what you just did?

Honoured to be here with you, sir.

Edit: As for the collecting Redlines, yes, yes we do. ;)

Well . . . impressed me, anyway.

BTW - I don't want to be nosy - (also I worked with the Childrens Wish Foundation for awhile, through a Corporation I used to work for in the past) but I'm hoping that you are holding out fine - in terms of what ails your health - and welcome to the thread. So - MOAR!! What other pics, and tales, do you have about your collection?
And just don't tell us that's an authentic pink RLBB - I'll scream.

Edit: a6m5 - I get you now - okay - I'll have a proper answer for you in a moment in here:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=249319

I promise you'll be very intrigued to know why that track leads nowhere. Also, yes, I have tracks that can be raced on, and pull-backs, and key cars, that can be raced, as well as a gravity-fueled dragstrip - more pics and details soon in that thread.
And, hey -when are you going to drop into the Clubhouse? We need guns. Just in case.

Well, im compleately cured and have been for the last 4 years.

I have one other car thats a one off I got from the people at HW.

I will post some of that later

I also have all of the hw35 cars in and out of blister and ZED-36 (also the 1:18 deora)

All of the accelerators cars aswell...

The pink one is a long story, the body is real, I found it without paint wheels and a cracked undercarrage in a garage.

I dissasembled it, gave it a new base, wheels and interior.

The body however was all original, when it came time to paint it I decided to paint it the pink it would have come in, instead of redoing the red I found it in...

Got to see those - would be a treat.

Okay, now I understand. For a moment there . . . ;) Interesting story.

My Redline collection:

I see several nice cars in there; it's cool to have more people here that appreciate the old stuff.

Now for the good part:

That is all kinds of awesome, from HW working with you to make your car downright to the final product. If they produced that, I'd buy it lol.

Did you do that illustration too?

EDIT- Does anyone else here collect redlines?

No one, because money. Oh, some of us have the occassional redline here and there, I have about 15, but they have come my way for casuality or on the very cheap. I intend to changee that this next year, though.

Antonisbob
'Dat Beach Bomb.....

I actually have 4 of them

Blue
2 green
Restored pink

Plus a modern (fake) one in the corner in HWC christmas livery

However I think the rarest one(s) in there is a prototype Lincoln without paint and a proto police cruiser (no name plate)

Hot Wheels or any other die-cast company seriously needs to make one of these. Even if me and the whole seven other people in the world who actually appreciate these buy them. Believe me, we will buy them all which would theoretically justify the company to make them. I just found out about this car today, and I instantly knew I had to own one in some form or another someday.

It is a Honda Accord Aerodeck for those who don't know.

Yea! I totally agree here!:)đź‘Ť

Honda's front-wheel-drive answer to Sileighty. I'd buy one, it's amusing. I do like the stance of the car. It looks like Accord front end & a Civic ass.

I'd really like to see this one as well. I can even keep my opinions to myself!

I was just kidding with you. It's an awesome looking shoehorn.

:P

Seriously, the design looks professional. It is very cool. đź‘Ť

I already am. It's like a episode of "Lost" already.

I somehow missed this, but to be honest, I've never joined any clubs on this site. It's pretty much like club atmosphere in this thread! :sly:

Ah, so we are talking about the old stuff. I didn't even know what he meant exactly by redlines. I have some "Walmart Exclusive" redline finished cars, but I got the feeling he meant something different.

This is one bad 🤬 mutiquote, and the thing about the shoehorn; that just made my day!
