yea it was 18.00UTC before we change our clocks. But now that we all changed, i think the greenflag should be changed accordingly. No?

The thing is just that i don't understand why we start the race one hour earlier than planned. 'Cause we started at 20.00 (my time) for the 1st round, and now it's 19.00 (my time). And I signed up for this series for 20.00 (my time) which was originally planned. But since we all changed our clocks for the winter, green flag is now 1 hour earlier. That sucks. Would be better to change the green flag to 19.00 UTC tbh.
I confess that race at 18 or 19 UTC isn't a big deal for me on sundays, but it may be for some guys here...

I'd rather not host D2 if Steve can do it. Internet has been strange since the storm; since I usually route through NYC.
Probably be better next week, but yesterday didn't give me any confidence in my connection being good for hosting.

That was the intended plan from the get-go.
The start time would have been 17:00UTC if the clocks weren't going to go back an hour after the first round or two Iirc.

It's 62 mph.

You can go 100 mph on the Mulsanne straights. 👍

And when we enter the Ford chicanes, it will not be possible to go 62 mph.
So bring the speed down to 50ish mph before entering the first Ford chicane, and keep that pace until you reach the line where the timer begins.
Then go! 👍

Huh? I thought we were going to do a time cycle?

What's wrong with that? You just open the room @ 5am with Scale=7 and it will be noon at the green flag time and ~11pm at the finish.
no need to do any track cycling that would cause the tire bug to kick in.
 
Oh, forgot to mention this here. If I can, I would like to be in the Supra team, as there is a spot open there and it was my first pick.

Right. Don't know why we're going with the standard version of the track before talking about it, please stay tuned to the thread, I'm gonna talk to Dennis in the room to make a decision then follow up here.

And Henry, you can join with the Supra, yes.

Oh and we'll talk about time change later on Litchi. The only people I can think it changes for is Adam and Dave and Josh. Adam would have it easier the earlier it is since he has football, but Dave and Josh may have it harder since Dave has to put the kids to sleep and an hour makes a difference.

Heading into D1.
 
Final decision on track for round 3:
We're racing on the standard version, no light or weather change.

Oh and for the formation lap end, keep it two wide through the Ford chicane aznd keep it very tight, don't worry about "cutting " on the formation lap.
