Just thought I'd share a few videos I've been making of the tests of my drift cars. I tend to use either Indy Road, Grand Valley Speedway, Madrid Reverse, Suzuka West and Autumn Ring Mini for my testing, but will always have a go with other circuits. I've got a few of my own Kart tracks which are pretty good and, if I'm feeling particularly adventurous, will even give Motegi a go.

(Still don't know why the ripping process from my dvd recordings are coming out in 4:3, despite both recording and playing from the disc in 16:9)

BMW M5

Unfortunately I didn't remove the 13 seconds of nothingness at the beginning of the video before uploading. I'm not a Motegi fan, but decided to give it a go anyway.

A couple of new additions this time,,,

Nissan 280Z

Surprisingly good, despite the lower power levels.

BMW M Coupe

This one was slightly trickier at times, with the camber of the Autumn Ring corners, but with a few tiny tweaks to my corner attack strategy everything got much better.

BMW M3 '04

I was expecting the M3 Series cars to be good at this, but I wasn't holding out much hope for the "lower powered" model in the range, but I was pleasantly rewarded with a very stable car.

Nissan R33 Skyline

Getting the right balance of power was difficult at first, with too much understeer to begin with then too much power which created uncontrollable spin-outs, but a few clicks of the power limiter later got this thing all Ken Blocked up!

Mercedes Benz SLS

An absolute joy to throw around, especially when you imagine you're actually in the F1 safety car during an active race!

Subaru BRZ

I really wasn't sure about the BRZ/FRS/GT86 when it came to drifting, as I didn't think the power level would make things very easy. I was proved wrong, but I still think a little more power would elevate them into the "Epic" category.

More to follow, just waiting for youtube to pull it's finger out!

Toyota 2000GT

Brilliant fun, I couldn't stop smiling after this, so I took it out on several other tracks too!

Amuse S2000 GT1

This is the standard version from the ucd, and handles really well, with the right balance of power compared with the general S2000 models.

BMW M3 GTR

The regular M3 was good, the GTR is so much better with all that extra power! I know that power isn't everything, but it's really nice when you have it!

Bugatti Veyron

This was really just a test to see how it would handle, it's a bit of a struggle, mostly because of the understeer but also because of that rear wing. You'll also notice it seems to have lost 10 cylinders too, that's because I've put the semi racing exhaust on, so it now has the exhaust sounds from a Nissan Skyline!

Callaway C12

I started looking through the top end of the power cars and thought this might be a good option, and I really enjoyed the results. Nicely controllable and planted overall.

Still more to come, YT is being very slow at the post-production phase

Chevrolet Corvette Coupe C2

Superbly balanced, and with all that low-down torque it was always in the mood to smoke the rears!

Hyundai Clix Concept

Excellent little car, very eager to corner with it's tail hanging out.

Shelby Cobra

With all that muscle, it's easy to get the back end doing what you want it to do. Making it controllable was a much harder task.

Caterham Fireblade

I found this one a little difficult, because it's low in all respects - weight and power, which meant that braking the traction was half the battle.

Thanks mate, it's just such a shame that they're coming out in the wrong aspect ratio. Need to have a look at my ripping software, lol
