In real life racing this is very well known, regulated and adheared to by all Pilots, there is one additional caveat I would like to throw out there:

The Half Way Rule
If a trailing Pilot puts the front of his/her vehicle half way or more past the leading Pilot's vehicle before the turn-in, the pass is considered complete and the leading Pilot must conceed the position through the turn or take the outside line through the turn letting the challenger exit on the racing line if the pass remains complete through the apex. If the challenger cannot maintain half way or more, he/she must conceed the racing line on exit.

I wish people in GT5 did this.
Anyway, this Turtle series is probably the only series on GTP which races are so clean and you can find people doing this

There are a few more clean leagues.

Ya if we all had triple monitor setups, then I could see this rule being enforced, but I just don't think it can be enforced with everybody only have one screen (actually I remember hearing someone has a 2/3 screen setup, maybe Drex?). But the FOV is just not good enough to see side to side, and pressing a button to look to the side just doesn't cut it for me, because then you can't see ahead of you.

Map on 2 helps a lot.

I have an idea for a race, if this is a good place to share it.

I think saying that if you have overlap on a lead driver then the lead driver has been passed and should concede position is a bit extreme, IMO.

Because this is a series. Its not to talk about or advertise other series. I think GTP has a forum for that. Since they are so anal about that.

And yes, if you are to the inside of some one going into a turn, you don't concede the position but you must take the outside line and try making it stick to defend yourself but you don't straight line to the apex, cutting the offending driver off.

Of course it's an idea for this league! But no, some of you think I'm either 12 (when I'm twice that age) or automatically assume its something else. Why would I promote other events IN HERE? Unbelievable. At least Martin had it right from the start... Regarding that race, I'm not going to suggest it here, thanks to some of you.

Race Recap

In Division 1 it was the MajikTom show. MajikTom won both races convincingly including a blistering 1:12.179 fast lap in Race 1. Also in Race 1 Spazmaticality had 2nd place until he spun on the final turn on the final lap with Psycho-Tuber there to take advantage and 2nd place by only .568. In Race 2 TX_Executioner took 2nd by .785 holding off a late charge from Psycho-Tuber. micantony and FFK13 ended up in a tie with micantony taking 4th place with the "Tie Breaker". Spazmaticality was one and done.

In Division 2 Ford-Racing99 ran away with the 1st race after getting the Pole and finished 2nd in Race 2 to take 1st Place overall. Johnny_Suede took the win in Race 2 and did well enough in Race 1 to take 2nd Place overall. RacingOtaku86 and spyagent1439 both ended up at 75 points with RacinOtaku86 taking 3rd place with the "Tie Breaker". We also had a tie between mbobb1969 and shred-tec with mbobb1969 taking 5th place using the "Tie Breaker". codeblue111 had 2 respectable races and hung in there for 7th place. johnsom raced hard and never quit to take 8th place. Unfortunately, both Team-Kracker_7 and zxxCOUNT210xxz got disconnected while doing well in Race 2.

In Division 3 NashNGW and Infinital-NG took turns going 1st and 2nd with NashNGW taking 1st Place with the "Tie Breaker". iceandspice was one and done.

Congratulations to MajikTom, Ford-Racing99, and NashNGW for their race wins and finishing 1st Place overall. We would like to welcome MajikTom, johnsom, Team-Kracker_7, and codeblue111 to the league and to the series! Be sure to watch your replays to see all the intense battles that went on in both races and in both lounges. Absolutely fantastic racing guys!

It was great racing with a lot of long battles. We practiced at Cote last night and had a some really helpful practice races.

Good race overall for me! Definitely a great racing league! I hope i can break in my car before next race starts!
