Just wanted you to know the Mobil One GT500 tune you created for me a while back ruled the Suzuka A-Spec seasonal. Very smooth and I only slightly modified the LSD to suite my driving style. You said it would be very nice at Suzuka and boy was it ever. :D

CSLACR - You have done a really nice job with the recent edits to the opening posts of your garage. I am a big fan of people who lay their method out there. I think it really helps others to learn. I hope you don't mind, but I want to test out some of your method. Since 2.09, I have been able to make quick FR cars, but I am burning off the outside front wheel. Your tunes are always buttery smooth. There may be an insight or two in there that I can also learn from... well... until they change the physics yet again.
 
No worries Hami, I don't really buy into that -tune method-ownership bit, I've learned a lot from others myself, if you're on these forums it and tuning it's hard not to, so test away, that's what it's there for. 👍

I made a few updates just now regarding spec (used for gate) and removed the weight from the MR-S. (cause I didn't like it)

If PP racing is your game, I'd recommend the Lexus and '03 Subaru, very bad-ass now for PP racing. Of course the Altezza is too, but that's just nuts. :lol:
 
Will be trying that ARTA '03 tune today. Gonna run it at Fuji for comparison's sake. Oh and Dom, when you say no chassis rigidity do you mean the add on or not doing the chassis refresh from the GTAuto screen?

It is about the Chassis Reinforcement (Rigidity Improvement) and not the Restore Body Rigidity in GT Auto Service. ;)
 
I see that Asparadrink '06 is updated. It would be nice to announce the updates. :P ;)

Both tunes worked great at the time and probably currently, I just wanted it uniform with the other GT300 base tunes. 👍

DragonWhisky - Refreshing the chassis in GTAuto or not I would consider a handling option, for cars with great understeer I don't do it, as an old chassis will increase rotation.
Basically an identical effect to chassis reinforcement, imo. 👍

tested this tune agains a standard none tuned AEM S2000 and the standard one was 0.6 faster than your tuned one yours feels too twitchy on the throttle and have to pause a while before you can really get the power down would be a good drift car but no so good for the track :)

As noted in the comments, pop the front toe back to 0.00. ;)
If it's still a bit twitchy, let me know, there's a lot put into making that tune twitchy on throttle, and a way of dialing it back. Front toe first though. 👍

I said the same thing. As time has evolved and I've familiarized, I found lots of "new" or just referred to methods that "would" have worked before if it weren't for the ride height issue.

The OP has details on the settings, though I will say this: It's damn near impossible to make a car rotate much more than stock without ballast or aero helping. Rear toe is about it, and it doesn't do much anymore.

Was testing some other cars and when turn came to Celicas transmission i tried your tranny trick, as follows:

...but it doesn't work... regardles if i do top speed first or final gear - values for most of other gears are just not reachable? And if I set them as close as they can get that way, they end up ALL OVER the place... Can you help me understand this, please:)

only if I first set final gear to 4.000... then top speed to min... then again final gear to 2.500... I can squeeze other gears to your values. Would something like that be OK? Thanks
