What amazed me when joining was what a friendly, relaxed bunch of people the members of CRAP are 
. I have had a great time in the year since discovering the group. We try to keep things fresh by having different types of racing of which there are often multiple runnings to try and cater for our multinational membership. Some have wheels, some don't, some have mics some are mute(d)
One weekend a month is our monthly endurance race (e.g. January's is this weekend - 600pp Supercars)
Then we have a variety of other types of "organised" races at weekends and also on a casual ad hoc basis in the week and when there isn't an organised event. A few examples below.
Full Damage/No Aids
Shuffle racing
Non tuning races
Single make races
Theme nights
CRAP On A Budget (occasional league)
Handicap races (car/driver levelling)
Time trials
Free run/social/cruising driving
No one takes it too seriously - it's the craic that's the most important thing.
Cheers to "HP" and crew for setting things up in the first place.

There will be CRAP Recruiting open lobbies this coming weekend Friday 1st- Saturday 3rd February.
Races will be a combination of single make races and shuffle racing. Last placed drivers in races will generally choose cars and tracks.
All AIDS except Skid Recorvery Force will be allowed although most members won't be "using" except for some with ABS=1. If you own a Mic, bring it along if you like. Mic settings in the room won't be high but we should still be intelligable (ish!)

I wanted to repost this for those of you who may be interested in online gt5 racing but perhaps feel intimidated or keep running into arse's online. It's been a while, so maybe a refresher about the group will find some new friends.

Not that long ago I posted on this site asking for any casual players to join me and race online without the pressure and regulations that go with a stint in a lot of the rooms. I wanted people that had the same time constraints and who were as frustrated as I was and getting booted from rooms or simply not having fun for a number of reasons.
I expected maybe 10 people to reply but the response has been huge.
We have a mix of people from those on regularly to those who drop in every now and then and everyone inbetween. We have fast drivers and slow drivers and inbetween drivers. Some use driving aids and some do not, it is entirely up to the indivual concerned and we do not give anyone any grief for using them or for being a "noob" or inexperienced, in fact we welcome those people.
I really am stoked with the response I have had and I am glad that there was a need for a casual and relaxed group that has allowed me and others to have many a great race and a good laugh.
Huge thanks go out to all the regular die-hard C.R.A.P members who have been there all along; your help has been, and will continue to be, invaluable & I welcome your continued input; without you guys this would have surely bombed.
I will keep this thread "alive" for purposes of recruitment but race information will not be posted here as we have our main thread here so it is not necessary to maintain this thread with the same information.
Do continue to keep this alive though as this will be the first place that our target audience will see us so keep it going so we maintain that much needed visibility so those who need us can find us đź‘Ť

I joined the CRAP club back when it was originally started but didn't get to race or free run much due to other commitments. I have picked up the PS3 controller again of late and would like to get into some online racing. Not a really fast driver, but I do try and be a clean driver. My psn is mcartt11.
