Entry for the FITT Nurburgring Shootout v2.0. A bit on the soft side, but it's relatively forgiving to drive. Didn't really get time to fine tune it, I know there are some slight understeer issues left. Also, the exhaust note is very tasty.

Bullfrog 450pp
based on the BMW M Coupe '98
mcoupering1.jpg

This M Coupe is ready to tackle the Nordschleife with an improved chassis and a fully modded engine. The mighty E36 power is mostly kept in check using the tight differential settings and careful use of the accelerator pedal. With a top speed over 180mph, the grasshoppers better watch out!:dopey:

Spyker C8 Laviolette '01 550pp
spykerring2.jpg

With a power to weight of nearly 600 hp per ton, this Spyker is not for the faint of heart. The big wing helps keep this surface based jet on the tarmac at speed. With the tuned Audi power plant hooked to the rear wheels, the Spyker can reach over 200mph on the Nordschleife. Do watch your speed over the large bump sections, the car seems to think its an aircraft and will attempt to takeoff.

I was wondering if someone would enter that. I tried it pre-2.10, it killed me. The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anni. might be good as well, the tyres on that thing are really quite wide, so there should be no shortage of grip...but there's the 5 speed to put up with.

Yeah, after looking through the garage for something to run at 550pp, I thought I really needed to do a 2.10 tune for this car. No idea if its competitive as I am not consistent with this much performance around the Ring on sports tires.:dunce:

Nice choice! I enjoyed tuning a 550pp version (updated 2.09) of this car for the tuner car Ring seasonal and had a blast catching that rabbit Amuse Honda S2000 in a big luxury sedan. Oh, and its a Jaaaaggggg! :dopey:

It's just so nice because it's a Jaaaaaag... The stock exhaust note is crisis-inducing. :P

I should have my 450PP entry posted in the next 3-4 hours.
Unfortunately real life has interfered with my tuning the last couple of days so I'm going to have to withdraw from the 550PP Class.:(
Thanks for the feedback from those who tested my Jag, sorry I won't be able to use it to get a tune submitted.

Cheh, it doesn't take much to beat my C5, I can tell you that. :P Mine looks better though, no ma-hoos-ive wing sticking out of the car's lines. :P

Lol the massive wing is its secret weapon.

Also wondering what are some normal people times for 450pp? Like 8min ish?

Just for that Onboy I'm going to complete the Jag tune in the next few days and make you test drive it!:lol:
I'm not bothered, I can drive it I reckon. :P

At least use the subtler lip wing like I did, it's downforce that doesn't ruin the car's lines. Perfect, no? :D

I ran something like a 7:45 with my Mustang, so around 7:40s would be a good target to aim for.

Edit: Oi, Slacker, I posted my 550PP Entry, Y U NO LINK.

Not that I'm "normal" but I'm running 7'44.xxx with my Silvia SPEC-R Aero (S15) '02.

I'm going to assume you are more normal than some of these insanely fast guys. I am not sure I'll have enough time to enter at 450 but was just wondering what to aim for. The quick cars I tested so far were both 8ish. I don't wanna through together something that has no chance and waste the testers time.

I found time to complete my 550pp ISF tune (which is now on share) but decided not to participate in 450pp, I'll edit this post with the tune once I write it up.

Click the image to go to tune, its on share now.

Tuned for the second Nurburgring Nordschleife Shootout, this beauty is ready to win your hearts with her smooth handling yet playful attitude. Capable of laying down some astounding times on the track, she can also show a more frisky side letting her pretty tail swing out when you just want to have a bit of fun.

Notes: Great powerband for driving with an Automatic Transmission.

Note 2: Keep the tires off the grass as much as possible as she seems to be rather sensitive to dirty tires. Also smooth throttle control will be rewarded with quicker lap times and less tail wagging. While not as bad about shredding tires under hard acceleration out of corners as some other cars in the class she'll still light the rears up if you don't show at least a little restraint.

Note 3: Ol'Harvey Wallbanger managed a very nice best time of 7:43.847 on the ring and left, as usual, a lot of room for improvement out there.

Enjoy the ride and as Harvey Wallbanger always says...
Drive hard and have fun!:cheers::gtpflag:
