Sorry i never entered a car, i had BMW Z4 for 450 which just needed breaking in but nothing for the 550 class. Maybe next time 👍

Sorry you didn't make it, had a Z4 myself that was in the running until I settled on the S15.

Also a bit surprised not to see a Solstice in the mix as it was another very good car for the 450PP class. That said I think we've got a very interesting mix of cars for both classes and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the test drivers get on with them.

I think in the OP CSL said that we have to PM the results and then he will post them all together. Don't know about lap times though, not that they say much on their own (especially mine, I'm way off what everyone else is getting).

I have 15 tested for the moment.
Be patient please, some cars are very pleasant to test and others ...not !
This is not an easy task believe me.

Appreciate your taking the time to test our cars.
Oh and a small correction...it's 33 cars.

I enjoy driving the ring in small doses, but would quickly go completely insane if I tried to test for this, so my thanks to all the test drivers with the courage to complete this event.

I knew you'd say that. Honestly I'm keeping quiet 'til the end. I haven't tested that many yet because it's such a chore getting clean laps to record times.
(Only saying this because the Northern Loop is so big! Not because the cars are hard to drive)

Yeah, that was me bending you ear about the Pontiac. Loved driving that car, keen to see what can be done with it by the faster drivers. I ran a few hundred miles in the Cerbera and was pretty much decided on it. Once Praiano started dropping hints about it, I guessed that there must be something faster out there and broadened my search. I think the Solstice is faster, but in all honesty, it could just the shonky build I had on the TVR

The Cerbera was the only one I found (other than the 500) that fitted under the 450PP regs, without what I'd consider large amounts of hobbling.

Not only is it fairly light, it has enough torque to pull the Moon out of orbit, it's relentless. I'll revisit it and try to get it to handle a bit better. I'm sure someone with more skill than I could build a contender.

The minute I took the Pontiac to the track though, I knew the TVR's days were numbered. Only took a handful of laps to eclipse the fastest time I managed in the TVR.

Didn't try any of the Mazdas, thought we might see an RX7 or 8...

A couple fast cars went totally passed by in the 450 class for whatever reason.

I actually find it more difficult to drive the 450 class with sh tires, so that might have lessened the searching.
