A couple fast cars went totally passed by in the 450 class for whatever reason.

I actually find it more difficult to drive the 450 class with sh tires, so that might have lessened the searching.
Agreed on the difficulty. If I had just gone with easiest car to drive in initial testing it would have been either the SSR or SVT Cobra R. The Z4, Solstice and S15 were a little more challenging but not real hardcases. The Sileighty was the most challenging 450PP I tried but given more time to tune it I think it could be an absolute rocket.

Hi guys, just been trying out a toyota 430SCV 01 for something different at 450pp with sport hard tyres. Only done a quick tune and 3 laps, ran 7:51.2. Just wondering how that compares with some of the cars you've been driving,

Cheers

Depends on your driving ability. I'm not fast, distinctly middle of the pack, and would consider a 7:51 to not be quick enough. If you're a slow-arse, then a 7:51 probably isn't that bad. I, personally, wouldn't look at a car I couldn't hit a 7:40 in. The car I've gone with is capable of repeatable mid 7:30s.

Unfortuantely, if you're considering entering a car, you've missed the deadline. You're more than welcome to test though. There will be events running here year round, so don't worry too much, there'll be another event along soon enough...

Welcome to the planet.:cheers::gtpflag:
The test drivers are just getting started so we don't have any times really yet other than what the various tuners have posted while preparing their cars. With that in mind I tested an SC430 while I was choosing my entry and your time is fairly close to what I had with it. I'd say it's a decent 450PP car but a little slower than the top cars, but that's just my opinion.:lol:

Please tell me he didn't run consistent mid-30's on CS....

Mike, I need you to accept my FR on your GTP account, I'd thought it was on there but it seems not.

oh, i thought you were there as well, sorry! i should have checked, i will go through the list tomorrow and add you. :ouch:

edit: i havent checked but i remember driving your integra from a 400pp shootout, thats weird unless it was not on your account.

Sometimes i dont see a friend in ''aspec'' category but it appear in ''bspec'' category, have you checked there too? profile section i think.

450PP test done.

550PP 6 cars to test, will do this tomorrow and PM my results to CSLACR ... TOP SECRET !!:nervous:
Bravo amigo.
I know the feedback and DC is to be withheld until the end but can you please post your times? CSLACR did say posting the times was allowed.:sly:

No, I sent the FR and it didn't say you were already on, it's possible in a deletion spree I accidentally caught it, assuming you didn't log in it for over a month at some point, otherwise idk. :dopey:

No rush, I probably won't touch a car till the weekend.
450PP test done.

You crazy man, you crazy.
I'll have to do 450PP first, I find it very hard to go from 550 to 450, for some cars are almost as fast as the 550(slower ones), with no cornering or brakes comparably. :scared:

That's flatout insane. I've tested two not my own so far. :embarrassed: Off for more now that I've added pretties to my tune posts.

Ok , finish with the 450PP, I've test most of them at racing cruising speed.
One lap to feel the car
One lap for the time
One more lap if i made some mistake or if i think i can push more for technical cars.

@Praiano your the man.👍👍
With no more than 3 laps you managed to take 10 seconds off my best time.:bowdown:

I win! Wait, we aren't looking for the car with the longest name....? Well who decided that?!

:D

Praiano, very impressive times. 18 secs faster than my best time lapping that Jaaag. I'm surprised you recorded such a low top speed though, I hit 170+mph consistently down the back straight... Not entirely sure what's gone on there. :P

Also surprised that the 1.6 ton boat is placing middle of the pack in terms of times. :P

What does MLSC mean? Everyone has like 500+ han I have so low lol

Boooooo..!! I'll go rectify that shortly. Not sure why it's on CS tyres :dunce:

PS - I'm guessing you didn't set a 7:32 on those tyres?? :sly:

The Pontiac is now on Sports Hard tyres. No freaking idea why it was on Comforts, don't think I've ever driven it on them :guilty:

Anyway, have at it, gentlemen... :mischievous:

.

Hahahaha ... sure you win, no place in my excel sheet for you .
I think the only one who beat it is the "Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 ’65 (Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Gran Turismo Trophy 2009)"

I will check this because i try to remember this speed till i pass the line, if not i check the replay to confirm.
This speed is not the max speed before braking for the last turns.
It's the speed when you pass under the panel end of straight.👍

Wow, do I feel slow :dopey:. My best time was a 8:11.xxx and you crushed it . Thanks!!!

I think i drove more than 300.000km on this track since GT4. After this you know every corner so well that it seems like a straight road for me.
Even like this i have a lot of things to learn on the ring, things i can't learn by myself but looking at others faster drivers like Mike's replays. Practice and practice make you faster.
At this moment , to gain the few seconds that i have to shave to reach this level is a very hard task.
It's like guitar , when you learn you progress very quickly but after one year any little progress is a lot of practice.
The most important thing is to have fun doing this ,and i have a lot, all the time, more and more.
I think i'm a ring addict yes :):)👍

Have a good day.

Well done Laurent 👍, thought my car would do slightly better but hope at least you enjoyed it, i get 283kmh top speed though, but i assume you check the speed right under the bridge?

Yep, he's taking his speeds under the bridge. Delighted to see that the only car faster than mine, at that point, is Ridox's ridiculously powerful Silvia. Not bad for a tiny 4-pot motor :mischievous:

I expect if Praiano were to commit the time needed for max TT that all the cars would be a bit quicker, some more than others. His results here are probably more in line with the kinds of times he would be running under race conditions where you run a little more cautiously and safely than during full on TT.
Depending on how well the cars fit his style and how easy they are for him to control will play a part in his times...some tunes might be able to gain a fair bit with enough testing but because of their nature not perform as well as expected under a slightly safer approach.

I'm still blown away that he is that fast with cars he has only driven for 2 or 3 laps.:bowdown:

Exact , i've checked again now and that's it , 275 kmh under the bilstein panel...
Your car have more potential than the other lexus. But , to explore this potential , you need skills that i don't have to make it work in 3 or 4 laps. For you it must be natural, but i just don't have your skills. :guilty:
The rear end of your car is very loose when you push hard for a pilot like me. Sure i can make it work, but i would need much more laps or a lucky lap to make this happen.
The other lexus is safer and more planted, i reach quickly his potential and this for me at my own level.

That's it. Most of the cars, the easiest planted one are close to the best time i can do with them, i think i can shave a second or 2 if pushing a lot.
Some like Mike's car , your car or cy's solstice pontiac can be faster around 3 seconds i think , but it would be hard and only spending a long time trying.

Now the 550PP , totaly different.
