Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II - Paintable, just did it this morning.

Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca Race Car ’00 - Unpaintable, also tried this morning.

There is a black Toyota 7 Race Car `70 around.

I have a Chrome Ford Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II on share.

Heard that this Ford Mark IV Race Car ’67 is still not paintable.

Looking at a "DefaultColor" Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trial Car `98.

Just painted a Plymouth Cuda 440. Only the sides, including the black part on rear quarter panel, got painted. The rest of the car came out white so I guess this would go under the partial list. Looks alright I guess.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C2) Race Car ’63 - Paintable, looks good in Metallic Red.

Dome DOME-ZERO Concept ’78 - Unpaintable

Ferrari P4 - Paintable, but I think it is technically partially, because the decals are still there.
Ford GT40 1969 Gulf - Paintable, but same as P4.
Audi R8 LMS Race Car ’09 - Think I saw a painted one before.
Chaparral 2D Race Car ’67 - Paintable, I saw it with a black paint chip in a room, but didn't actually see the car.

I have a "Default Color" Citroen GT race car. Looks great, also a 'gold' Ferrari P4.

If the decals are still there i'm counting it as fully paintable. The Pagani and Formula are partial because only a small portion of the car becomes painted.

Chevy Camaro SS '69 - Paintable, but loses its stripes (not completely, but they are faint) like the Chevelle.

Chevy Camaro LM Race Car - Paintable. The whole car gets painted and unlike before, all decals are clearly visable. Looks pretty sweet in Yellow. Before, when you panted this car, it would paint over the decals making them barely visable. Not the case anymore. All decals are clear to see.

Not so much to prove anything, but so we have an idea what it looks like, specially for the partially paintable body.

Is the Escudo really paintable?

Makes me want to do either a blue or black one with 1800HP.

EDIT; Escudo paintable, but only the main body changes color while everything else remains red. Also had it tuned to 1800HP, and i can gladly say there's a reason why they stopped going that high in GT3 👍

@Fazerfan: I don't need to prove anything to you or anyonr else. If my word is not good enough, thats on you then. I don't lie and have no reason to. I have tested everything I have posted here and know it to be fact. If you have doubts, then try it yourself. If I have time, I will post some pics for the reason Cote Dazur gave, so people can see ehat the car looks like in different paints.

Thanks for the last two. I have the 1st post setup so we know what's actually paintable and what we're uncertain of right now so it looks a bit clean, but i might reorganize the post if it becomes large enough.

I thought that was a standard car? Thats what I have it as anyway. Maybe you're thinking of the "Test car" which is premium. I have several of those painted, including the Orange you have. Confused.

@CostasDrifter: I tried painting the Biuck Special with no success on any part of the car. Perhaps you could post a picture. Not saying you're lying by any means, just simply want to see a pic.

Will be testing more of these today.

Updating. Also apparently throwing a Ferrari F1 engine into your car does not lift PP very much, due to the low torque. I have a 890HP CUSCO Subaro with full downforce at 647PP with the F1 engine.

This is not confirmed by me. A friend of mine painted it and I saw it in a race. It looked that has painted the hood, roof and bootlid with some chrome dark blue. I asked to send me the car and then I will post a photo.

Yea, I have literally hundreds of cars that were previously unpainted that I have painted. Next to time trialling, this is my next favorite thing to do is paint cars. I hope GT6 has a livery editor, that would be the ultimate for me. Thats why I like Forza is because of the livery editor, among other things. Check out the link in my sig for my Forza cars.
