Announcing the April Lineup for S.N.A.I.L. SPEC Racing
The Drivers List has been updated with Promotions and Relegation's for the month of April.
This month saw a lot of movement of Drivers primarily for Division leveling. Please keep that in mind when you view the April Divisions 👍
I'd like to point out there's no clear cut formula for getting promoted or relegated. We take into account a number of factors to determine candidates for promotion and relegation. Once we've identified the drivers, we analyze the data at our disposal and make sure the people being moved fit into the Division they're being moved to. Then we pull the trigger
Some of the criteria for being ELIGIBLE to be promoted or relegated are:
1. Points for the month
2. How many drivers are in each division.
3. Race pace
4. Individual Lap Times
5. How you compare to other racers in your division and the division you're a candidate for.
6. Number of times you've raced that month.
7. How cleanly you've raced this past month.
Why do we do this?
1. To get you involved in races you will be racing in, not just driving.
2. To incent you to improve your driving and racecraft.
3. To give you something to strive for.
4. To make it possible for you to have fun playing GT5.
We want you to be in good, close, clean racing 👍

N.B. If you were promoted or relegated and don't have access to the lounge you're assigned to for the April season, please send a PSN Friend Request to the appropriate SNAIL_DivisionX account. If for some reason your Friend Request is not accepted, let us know!

April SNAIL Drive!
The new Driver's List has been posted and tonight we begin the April championships! Now is a perfect time for all SNAILS to give some thought to becoming a member of Team Snail!! Team SNAIL consists of all the behind the scenes folks that make SNAIL so unique. There are several positions open and are vital to the day to day operation of our race league. If a position that interests you appears to be taken, we also really need back up personnel. Take a look and see if there is something out there you would be willing to spend a few extra minutes a week to help keep this great league running!!

Hey Dragonwhisky,
I know the 10:00 P.M. start time is not optimum for you, but at this point D3's start time will remain 10:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
It's a bit of a two edged sword, have a great season and then ...
Perhaps racing part of the night would work? I know it's not the best, but we'd love to have you running circles around us in D3 👍

I'm a bit anal about finishing something I start. I'll give it a shot and see how it works out. Bailing after 4 or 5 rounds will just kind of suck.
Doubtful that I'll run circles around anyone in D3. Most likely be back to my perpetual back-marker status.
On a side note, the Snail Team post might need to be updated. Immediately evident is the capable hosts for D4. If the driver's list is current, both of those people have moved to other divisions.

Sorry bout this too. cheeb and I didn't finish the promotion and relegation process until after midnight and at that point I was cooked. I'll update everything to reflect the movement of drivers asap.

We have a little issue we need to sort out for tonight. There is a strong possibility I will not be racing (still working out some angles) and we are going to need a member with a reliable internet connection to host the lounge and an interim race director. I have never had any problems in D1 as well... Though for very different reasons.
The stewards reports have not been all THAT bad for D1, I believe.
If anyone wants to publicly proclaim a division is not following the SNAIL OLR, I sure hope they have the complaints/inquiry/reviews to back it up. Relying on rumors and smearing the character of all the drivers in a division without proof is hardly 'fair.'
Kinda in the put up (the complaint) or pipe down on the unproven allegations, in my opinion.
