1 tenth improvement. Had a lap with a 27.6 first sector and 31.9 second sector and blew it on the last turn. :ouch:

I blew sub 60 second splits in the last corner TWICE!!!!!! Sigh....

At least I know I can do it! I am off to try again tonight.

Good job you two. Go get those times!!!

Nice going Andrew 👍 Juan Antonio too... 👍

I put another good hour and a half in tonight and managed to beat every sector by a tenth... but never in the same lap. Just about to quit for the night and put this together:

27.574
31.959

Lost about a tenth-and-a-bit being too cautious through the last bend but gained just over half a tenth at line. Its ok for a banker I think. Theoretical 2 tenths left but I'll be happy with one. Good luck guys

You're ridiculous. Just wanted to let you know that. :)

 Thanks, that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me all day. 👍

Wow Chris, you continue to amaze me. Great splits there my friend. 👍

And Brandon, look at you go again this week, amazing stuff. I see D2 in your very near future and it will be well deserved.

As for me, well I couldn't resist, fractured hip and all, trying this out last night. Had my girl help me into my seat (she thinks I'm friggin crazy) and gave it a go. Sadly, all I could muster was some very dismal splits. But, I'm going to give it another try anyway tomorrow. I won't be denied damnit. Shear determination will get me at least a respectable time so that's what I'm shooting for. Call me stupid, but I'm just a dedicated time trailer with an undying passion for what I do here. Peace my friends.

Thanks Mitch. I don't know if I'll be able to submit this week. My wife's laptop got sent off yesterday to Toshiba and no idea when I'll get it back. I'm hoping I can get another good run at it before monday to figure out t2.

Fractured hip? What happened? Better let your crippled ass heal up so nothing permanent sticks.

Only 10 laps on this so far, but a further 5 hot me this
28.120
32.247

Still losing time in T1 in the left right before the tunnel, otherwise getting the hang of this one
And then three laps later...
27.973
32.154
Bit cautious in the last turn though :banghead:

Over to you Lucas :sly:

I'll get right on it. :grumpy:👍

EDIT: Nice work wringing the tenths/hundo's out of this one guys. Chris, your 27.5 in T1 I'll agree with Brandon, is a bit ridiculous.

.018 overall improvement after 6 laps.

.018 overall improvement after 12 laps.

Slower splits. :ouch:

27.872
32.349

I kind of knew it was going to come down to these small improvements, but seeing
Chris so far ahead had me hopeful for more than 0.036 overall.

And I your T1 sir! In fact I have been under 27.9 but once so I've still work to do there. T2 I actually lost some time on as my best through there is a 32.06 and I've also had a 32.13. There's also another tenth in T3 to find, so maybe 0.3 on the lap if I string it all together. I must say I was skeptical about the car (and I still am about the paint job), but it's a lot of fun around here.

Race on

I just saw "V"z setup and that is the setup my car came w/ 👍 The car rocks but seemed like it had a little bit of push out, under full throttle, when I wanted more step out to rotate the car. I stood up the rears and took out the rear ARB and she came around.

The car has such a short power band I stretched the gears by gearing out 6th. I'm only running 5 gears. I cranked 1st to the moon so it was the lowest gear to enter the 1st turn w/ and it goes till I am almost straightened up.

best T1: 582 - best T2: 887 , have this sectors in diferents laps.

and in good lap with no fails.

27.610
31.971

with my G25 now i go to fight in WRS for my first win in first position :mischievous:

So I'm about 0.5 away from being semi-competitive here, but I just cant figure out where to get more time. I assume I must simply be taking the wrong lines in a couple places, but I guess I am not 100% sure where all the right lines are on this track because I've never watched a "good" lap on it before.

Any hints or advice for the new guy? :)

Also, one clarification on the boundaries on this track. If I'm reading the OP correctly, then it's OK to have all 4 wheels outside the white lines as long as 2 of them are still on the standard asphalt/tarmac surface, correct? (Just want to make sure I know the exact difference between clean and dirty).

Thanks in advance!

The answer is always Chris. Always.

Yes, you can be outside the white line. 👍

EDIT: And you can easily gain 0.5 at the left-right before the first tunnel, if you're currently doing it wrong there.

This is great, thanks! Hopefully I can translate this into a better time :)

... and thanks for another resource you turned me onto... the WRS Archives... I may have to spend some time there.

31.960

Got a little nervous in the last sector and lost a tenth on my personal best. Gained exactly a tenth at the line.
