Every week I go through either the archives or Chris' youtube channel. Once I see the lines he takes, it takes away some of my doubt as to the best way to attack the course 👍. Now executing the lines he takes are another story.

Bring it!! LoL I don't know what's gotten into me these past 2 weeks but I like it!! I've submitted and now I wait to get pushed down the list!

I started to loose a lot of time on my ghost on the straights for some reason, and then I noticed I was down 11hp.

New splits.

27.643
32.049

I've been getting some 27.5s in sector 1 and very few 31.8s in sector 2, but I can't seem to string it together yet.

Well, managed to convince my girlfriend to help me back into my Playseat, fractured hip and all, and managed some decent splits. The pain was unbearable but I will not be denied my passion. They will have to cut off both of my arms and legs to keep me from doing what I love....and then I'll still figure out a way. I'm sure I'll pay for it tomorrow, but God willing I'll be back in that seat again trying to improve. First splits from a very painful 2 hour session.

28.081
32.218

Sorry Brando I can't give you a run for your money this week, but just glad to have some decent splits to put up. Awesome run again this week by you, very impressive.

Nice splits Mitch. Hope you heal quickly!! I'm willing to bet that if you hadnt fractured your hip, you would have beaten me this week.. your t2 is already better than mine!! :scared: you sure do have bad luck though. Keep it up and I'm buying you lifealert for christmas.. lol

Splits from last night:

27.660
31.967

Much better last sector and up half a tenth on the lap. Going for the jackpot tonight.... Those ever elusive last 2 tenths. :P Great 1st sector Juan Antonio. 👍

I have to admire your passion and dedication but please give the hip a little rest!! I can't bare the pain. :ouch::)

Thanks for the kind words and advice Gayle, but like I said, they'd have to cut off both my arms and legs before I give it up. I live by the following code.

In the warriors code
There's no surrender
Though his body says stop
His spirit cries - never!
Deep in our soul
A quiet ember
Knows it's you against you
It's the paradox
That drives us on
It's a battle of wills
In the heat of attack
It's the passion that kills
The victory is yours alone

Lyrics courtesy of Survivors' "Burning Heart". The song I play everytime I hit the track. Its not only a verse from a song that motivates me when time trialing, I also live my life by it. 👍 NGU.

Although i'm not a fan of DF and never drive there. Defiantly not a fan of FF cars (a bit of an understatement  ) But this combo is big fun. Never knew i could have so much fun in an FF car, probably the only FF car, i will ever enjoy :)

Have a best t1 of .604 so a fair amount left there, but the rest of the lap is pretty good.

Finally on the board here... still some work to do on these times. Thanks to all for the videos and advice!

Only a couple more hundredths at T2, but a bonkers T3 and I've beat my target for the week. Only to have to rethink my target by later running a 27.7 + 32.1 lap with a dirty final corner.

27.934
32.250

Oh, and maybe this is what Matt was talking about early in the week, regarding T3 being frustrating.

Ford thread will be up soon, for those of you stuck chasing thousandths on this one. ;)

.12 gained at the line. My sector 3 is close to perfect.

Keep those dirty final corners comin Lucas! I've had that T3 happen to me but never on a good lap and its only happened a couple of times.

I've been using Chris' tune and I noticed last night that I have been running all week with the default aero settings. I switched it up and ran a quick lap before bed with a very high .6 in t1 but understeered out into the mountain of t2. Tomorrow my wife and I celebrate our anniversary and my off days don't show their pretty faces until Tuesday/Wednesday, so I'm afraid I won't be able to run this fun little combo again. I submitted last night with a lap that's 3 tenths faster than what I was aiming for. Hope its enough to hold off the savages on their last minute runs. Wouldn't be shocked if Al throws down a sub 60's split soon. :scared:

I can't even begin to tell you the number of times I did that exact same thing last night. Talk about coming to an abrupt halt. Made my hip hurt worse than it already does. And talk about a loud bang, I had my surround sound turned up pretty loud so I can only imagine what my downstairs neighbors thought was going on.:lol:

.15 better at the line, finding it hard to improve much more. Lining up the turn on T2 going into the mountain is pretty frustrating. That is where most of my laps are ruined.

Still a little faster :)

T1: 27.887
T2: 32.212

And now only using 4 gears
(Actually only using 2nd-5th )

T1: 27.884
T2: 32.068

JTV told me he'd join us this week, since the car is ONLY IN HIS AVATAR.

You haven't tried any time-trials since you were promoted to D2, man. Let's go. :mischievous:

Racing is on. :gtpflag:
Got some spare time today and intend to put in a few hours worth.

That might be it for me.... I intended to run it tonight but the Mark IV is up and, well, there's no contest between this and a Le Mans classic. Submitting with posted splits. Good luck guys
