Great splits Lefty 👍

First splits of the evening. Dropped a high 59.7 and this lap had a terrible T3 but was still faster at the line.

Gained a tenth in T1, gave it back again in T2 but had a much better run through T3

Looking for 0.2 in an ideal world but would be thrilled with half that

Edit: after running 32.0x for the last few days, I managed to drop 2 tenths for this lap, but with a decent T1 and an epic T3, gained another few hundredths at the line. Still looking for 2 tenths, and they're all in T2!!

Nice going everyone! :)

I'll probably go chase my current ghost with the bonkers T3 in a little while.

I don't think I've seen a T2 better than 32.150. Hmm.

Well I may not hit it very hard actually. Now that you've told me in a PM that my T3 is not all that bonkers, I may just give it a few laps and move on to the Ford for a while. This combo is a bit maddening at times. Well done, Jon.

And glad to see JTV joining. :)

I am getting frustrated. Not able to produce the T1 and 2 splits I had early on in this combo. I am going to give it one more go tonight.

This game is so weird sometimes in the way it brings the speed out in me. I was trying to figure out how to go faster of course, so Little kicked in on the new combo and laid down a crazy fast time in less then 10 laps. It must have took me like an hr before I could pass his ghost. The edge I was running at started to feel comfortable and I caught and finally passed his time. Then his melt down came as it was his turn to beat my effort  all of a sudden I didn't have anyone to compete against so I went back to the forest and everything was easier.

The spots I was having difficulty in were doable after that and I was able to enter the turns at a higher rolling speed and was passing my ghost going in. If I could keep it together I would come out ahead, and w/ more Mo I could get to the next turn ahead. I could see a chance to beat my ghost going up the hill past "Magnetic Mountain" as I would Roosty past my ghost going down the hill and fly out of the bucket wash and push wide into that frickin mountain.

When I started to track out of the corner everything slowed down and I could fly past and wheely away up the hill towards my best T2. When I got to the last corner I had to have supreme confidence that I could go faster then I ever had, in through and out. With Little looking over my shoulder I got steely eyed flew through the corner like a man possessed.

And it all came from the new combo :)

Submitted with the splits on the board. Couldn't keep up with my sector 3. Good luck all. 👍

After 30 laps today, I managed to find .06. Maybe it is time to move on to the next TT. I may have a better lap, but I think this is about as good as I can do.

Just found out the white line rule, the rule is quit clear. But want to clear something up. Is it allowed to cross the white line down the S/F straight?

Thanks wanted to say missed that post, But i didn't, only watched the video and didn't read the comment in that post for some reason. Probably my GF needed my attention

Pheuw i'm happy otherwise al those hours where down the drain. Because of that video i started to cross that line. Makes the braking zone a bit easier.

Time to post my awful splits. But my T3 is making up those T1 & 2. (i hope )

I did better in both splits. Left quit some time there :banghead:

Thanks buddy! I didn't get to make it home tonight. I'm stuck in my semi truck 250 miles from home. Celebrating it on Tuesday ;)

That was my combination way of saying "Nice splits!" and "I've been trying for hours and have nothing to show for it!"

Oh. LoL I'm a bit of a moron for reading between the lines. Thanks. I've been at it for 2 hours. Gave up on Chris' tune. I just can't drive it with a controller like I could the wheel. I'm still at it too. Saw a lower split at the end of t2 that would put me in front of lefty's crazy fast time, but ran wide into the grass out of excitement.

I've got another hour tonight in me. Until then, I seem to have found a clue, but T3 was 0.3 off my bonkers one. :dunce: Hardest 0.1 I've ever fought. :ouch:

I really don't like putting up these slow T3-laps, but I just can't finish them correctly.

Best ever run to T2.

VVVV Thanks Jon. 👍 I was happy where I was, but then Brandon, Lefty, and Dennis happened. :P

Fantastic job sir. I have no idea how people are taking t2. My all time best is a 142 even after chris' videos lol kudos to you. Very well played

I didn't know I was such a motivation to so many, without even trying I'm getting people to reconsider there understanding of commitment even when they feel like giving up.

Go getum Grav. :gtpflag:

Definitely Lefty. 👍

I believe what sped me up in T2 was always keeping some amount of throttle on, when going around the long left into the mountain. I used to be coasting more, but now I quickly lift when entering the awkward entrance, and immediately get 10-25% gas going and then just vary it throughout the turn. Maybe a split-second full-lift when setting up for the exit.
