Deep down inside, everyone has a thing for sedans. Especially performance sedans. Don't deny your carnal instinct. Who doesn't love a car that you can use to haul the family around and get groceries in, but also take it to the track and thrash it around?

Rules:
Car must have 4 doors.
Car must have 4 wheels.

Now, onto the pictures.

Great looking thing, but it's front wheel drive A rear wheel drive on of those would be absolutely brilliant IMO

Thats lame. With looks that good I would expect it to be RWD. I bet some person out there will convert it to RWD

At the time it was the fastest 4 door car in the world

Think 500hp... 7.0lt V8..

A few choices of mine:

Renault 19 16v Chamade ph.2
DSCF0128.jpg

Made in the early 1990s, 1.8 16v engine with just under 140bhp, around 7.5 seconds to 60 (the benefits of a light bodyshell), 130mph and great handling. (Searched for ages through dozens of CDs of old saved pics to find the exact pic of the car I wanted!)

BMW 320si
201602126_caacd4d47c_o.jpg

Unfortunately couldn't find a pic of this car in Estoril Blue which is the best colour for them. Built to homologate the WTCC car. Inline 4 engine producing over 170bhp, lots of carbon goodies, chassis bits and an alcantara-trimmed interior.

Alpina D3 saloon
Alpina_D3_5_c.jpg

One of the least expensive Alpinas but a fantastic car. 1995cc turbo diesel engine, 197bhp, 302lb ft of torque, 7.4 to 60, 148mph and less expensive than the 320td M Sport, with bigger wheels and better ride and handling. Also averages 45mpg (UK gallons).

Autodelta 156 GTA M
156gtaam06_01.jpg

I was going to choose the normal Alfa 156 GTA but then I remembered this one. 3.7 V6 engine, 328bhp, just over 5 seconds to sixty and just under 180mph! They also do a "Super" version with around 400bhp... and this is FWD remember... But just look at it

*McLaren* will like this one.
gpowerm508_011600.jpg

and here is the engine
gpowerm508_eng1600.jpg

730 supercharged horsepower, 517 lb-ft torque topping out at 211 MPH.
(Sorry about the massive pictures)

Love for Law Enforcement.

The Impala SS's cheaper, and lighter (With all police equipment removed) brother.

policeinterceptor11.jpg

Still the most common police car in the United States.

Better pic of the P71 for ya Jim, with the black grille of the newer models and the typical black heavy-duty steel wheels:

Ford P71 Crown Vic

And another American sedan I like which they manage to sell in the UK (albeit not in great numbers):

Dodge Avenger
2008-dodge-avenger.jpg

It's a shame they don't sell the V6 version in the UK, it's even more of a shame that it's not RWD and it's a crying shame that it's not actually supposed to be that good a car (compared to it's rivals in Europe anyway). I do like how it looks though, like a smaller and leaner Charger.

I love that shaved and slammed red Audi in the first post. I would love to own that thing!

:yuck: I don't! Much prefer the black S8 a few pics below it. If you've seen one mean and moody Audi sedan on big rims you've seen them all, it seems.

It's still that lingering mini trucker in me I suppose.

I've only just noticed it uses the wheels from the 348 :P The centrecaps on the first pic gave it away... "hmm, those wheels look familiar..."
