Hey guys,
So after a long while of not caring about the update, I finally decided it could be worth while. Losing my drifting rank was a bit of a nuisance, but what really got to me was how my wheel acted up. I noticed it first when it wouldn't even recognize the Logitech g25 in 2 player mode, so I tried it in single (arcade) mode and it recognized that my wheel was there. It was really strange, I could press start, control the menu with the D-Pad on the shifter, and everything, but once I chose 2 player mode, the game wouldn't acknowledge anything I was doing on the wheel, all of the buttons, gas; everything just wouldn't respond. Anyway, after a few times restarting, and finally getting it to work in 2 player mode, I noticed my steering wheel would sway left and right, almost like a metronome, from the starting line. This would only happen at a complete stop, and seemed to be less noticeable while moving. I figured, eh, oh well it's only when I'm stopped, shouldn't be a big deal, but when I started to drive, everything felt not right and different. Sure some of the driving physics may have changed, but I definitely noticed something more. I realized that my g25 can no longer stay in a perfectly centered position.
Every time I try to align it to the center, I feel something like a notch turning or a click, and it directs it about 10 degrees to the right (if I am trying to center it from the left) or 10 to the left (if centering from right). It just wont center. I've tried searching for this problem, seemed to have found someone with a similar, if not the same problem, but found no solution.
I don't understand, everything was working fine for me before the patch, aren't patches supposed to make things better?![Grumpy :grumpy: :grumpy:](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/grumpy.svg?v=3)
Any help would be very appreciated.
I hope to get back drifting in my cockpit and back on the rankings again!
Oh yeah, and I have tried unplugging the wheel in all ways a million times. That is definitely not the solution.
Thanks guys,
Hope I can get back on the track with you soon. 👍
