quick go i did 1'15.312, ill probably be looking to beat ANI's time by the end, although it will take some doing to beat the eiger specialist.

My thumb isnt slowing me down too much but i cant grip the wheel with my left hand.

But I am going to improve it for at least 0.500 in this few days.👍
 
I settled for a 1'16.0, didn't want to go too hardcore on it but I wouldn't have been able to go too much faster either way.

1:18.390 after about 20 laps. I was ahead a few times but screwed up. I think with some more time I can get mid 1:17s

It's annoying, happened to me, and you always screw up on the coner that you never screw up on when you are on for beating your time.

Anyone have any tips for this one, as on the exit of turn 2 I seem to loose time accelerating out of the corner!

Also, what apex speed are people hitting on the fast right hander affter the tunnel? I seem to hit about 85mph on the exit, I dab the brake before entry while in 3rd gear and drive through. I know some of the fast guys are probably going 10mph faster, perhaps not even braking for the corner but I can't without crashing? Any Tips?

I always watch the top 1-3 drivers to see were im going wrong, just try and copy there lines and entry speeds, on my lap i lost over 0.1 in T1 but still improved.

This combo i was pretty much on the pace from the beginning, usually im way off then find the speed near the deadline.

I totally agree with you about how much annoying it is :crazy:

As for the speed after the tunnel i pretty much the same (136KM to 141KM) 141 was my best :dopey:

I also like Boy__Racer idea of trying to copy the lines..i guess i'll give it a try. :dunce:
 
Not too concerned with time for now,first time EVER in this car. Mon will do another practice session then submit time.

I'm way off the pace in this car. This combo doesn't suit me at all. I put in a 2 hour session and that was the best I could do.:indiff: Don't know what it is, I just can't find any pace. Oh well, I'll have another go in a few days time.

It so strange and annoying also the lift off after turning is too slow

May be it's only me but that's what i feel :dunce:
 
I've only managed a 1'15.424 so far with considerable mistakes through T2, T5 and the last corner. I easily have another 2-3 tenths in bag, but they just don't want to come to the table ATM :scared: As usual, turn 2 is completely hit or miss with the pad. It's one of those lame-o corners that I only hit well enough 10% of time...all the other times I end up completely botching T2 and wasting an easy 3 tenths. There's just absolutely no feel for that corner with the pad...frickin irritating :yuck:

Edit: New PB 1'15.367, ripping the e-brake through turn 2 to to get the pig to turn in :lol: I may just leave it at that for now, as I doubht I'll have much of a chance beating either Dan, Mad, or Marky anyway. I'll have another go if I happen to fall out of the top 4 qualifiers though 👍...I see 3 or so names on the entry list that have a good chance at bumping me further down the list once they have a go...

When is your wheel coming? any news?, i think when you get it you will be slower then get better and better until your a top top driver.
 
The new GT3 wheels were shipped out just a few days ago from China :) Should arrive on my doorstep in 2-3 weeks. I just hope no pirates get ahold of it, otherwise I may have to take my mausberg and canoe out into the Pacific Ocean to go take care of some business :lol:
 
Going to give this a go tonight... see what kind of times I can put down :)
 
Ran some laps a few days ago, I must say the car is an absolute pig as timeattack described..But any can at Eiger is a joy to drive. The first 2 corners are critical to hug/catch the edge of the grass and I only did it perfectly once in probably 50 laps, made it count thankfully and just snatched the P1 time;)
 
Will PM zujo with my fastest (slowest) lap in this Japanese turbobrick of 1'19.004. My listed time on the board of 1'18.858 (#78) is clean but there's no replay to back that one up.
Looks like I'll be teamed up with good old Dan which is fine by me :cool: :D

Maybe, maybe not lol i still want to improve.



Eiger is not really a track were you can cheat so i surpose replay verification is not needed for everyone.
