Just had several races with full grid, just join xx08/xx38 or xx.00/xx30 .... shouldnt be a problem then 👍

I haven't played for a few weeks, but I'm no real competition loss. 
Many people are tired of running the same races over and over again. I know I only usually race GT5p 1 or 2 hours a week these days and tend to stick to hot-lapping. I've been playing alot of GTR Evo and Race 07 instead.

I had an event 03 race last night... tried for an hour to match up in the World event and failed time after time. We tried GTP schedule and odd times and kept ending up in seperate races with only 4 or 5 other cars.
We did eventually managed to hook up later in the night, but it looked to me like there was something amiss with the servers as I've had no issues in the past like this.

well i dont have any matching issues, the only issue i have is that there are barely any drivers online anymore, i remember back in the days...about 4-5 months ago grids were full in either events ... sad

maybe PD are experimenting with the servers as part of the GT5 preperation and testing

I tried to enter a Fuji 600PP event at 5:05 PM yesterday and was unable to get a grid three times in a row. When I looked at my players met list I found a TeamGT user name.
Perhaps I was a victim of this.

I wasn't having issues matching... just an issue matching with another specific player in another region (one UK, one US) despite using co-ordinated entry times.

Yeah and even more problems with Phil on Friday.
The thing is, I logged in to race at the exact same time as something like 5 of my friends were racing, and I ended up in a race with ONE other driver, when I knew full well there were GTP, GTRP, TEW and other untagged drivers competing at the same time.
This has been happening to me all bloody week, so I would not use this as another excuse to worry about GT5P dying online.

There is a problem with the matching system!
There is an event that hundreds of us race every Sunday (NTSC) and have raced every Sunday for over a year now. This past Sunday exposed that there is a flaw in the matching system. We had text chat going and each room was nicely stuffed. Times are scheduled and we press go. We all ended up in split rooms. Some rooms had a max of 4 drivers, others had 6-8. This went on all day!!!
THIS HAS RUINED: racing events, practice for an upcomming 12hr endurance race, and just matching with your buds for some casual track time.
If you experience this problem please file a complaint to Sony via email explaning the problem.

This deal really pisses me off for the past 3 days nothing but trouble finding friends, yeeeesh. I don't know what it is or why it's hapening but I don't like it at all.
I hope the powers that be can clearly see that we are not happy
My guess is some tuning and experimenting for when gt5 comes out, so hopefully it will be resolved soon. On a bright note I've noticed less lag in the races lately but that does me no good when it's just against a ramdom stranger

Not everyone did the update when it was 1st available, and when was the update 1st available?
I started having problems on the 18th. "We" might want to do more investigting.

I must admit I jumped ship in a race with you where I was host, but there were only the 2 of us left and obviously you were fooling around like me so I hope you don't mind too much

Tried so hard to get a decent race yesterday, but all I got was 2-3 people. I know there is plenty trying on my friends list... Really hope this is fixed soon!

I'd not played this for months and months (perhaps not even this year at all) but decided to have a shot at it again over the weekend. I found that the matching process was taking much longer than i remembered and when i did eventually get a race, either the Beginners @ Daytona or Intermediate @ Eiger, i had no more than 4 opponents and often just 2. When i tried some of the Pro races i kept getting an error message after waiting a good 4 or 5 minutes for a match

Not that I know of... Seeing all these posts makes me a bit suspicious though... I cannot say Ive had problems though because I have not played the past 2 or 3 weeks... but judging from what Ive seen here it sounds bad...

It's bad... REAL bad.
NA players would flood a race with up to 16 people getting into a race together through clock matching regularly. Now, maybe 8 or less are matching together. Sony has yet to acknowledge they've done anything which they clearly have.

I posted on the previous page that I failed to get in a race in an unusual way and when I checked my players met list it did list a TeamGT member as the player I would have met if I had been in the race.

I mustve missed that post...
But this doesnt look good at all... there has been no announcement of anything going on and people are not getting into races... which is what was predicted in the TeamGT thread... Im going to check tonight how it goes with matching... see if I have the same problem as well....
