I don't think Sauber will be there in 2010. The whole QADBAK thing is far too mysterious and related to some apparent dodgy deals elsewhere.
If they are there in 2010, they won't have much choice in drivers and I don't expect them to have Heidfeld or Kovalainen.

True.. I heard nothing about QADBAK. They're just being too anonymous. But at least, they've bought Sauber. If nobody wants to buy Toyota then Sauber pretty much will be in plus, the work is still running on their cars and they already have it 
I also think nobody wants to buy Toyota in this dying moments unless something like what happened to Honda last year happen again...

When news broke of their acquisiion of BMW Sauber, they had to undergo a "fit and proper person" audit by the Football Association, which stipulates that people cannot own a team if there is a potential for them to bring the sport into disrepute. Flavio Briatore is currently undergoing one after th Singapore investigations.
Anyway, QADBAK has apparently passed the audit. It seems that there's a mire of shell companies and confidentiality agreements involved, but they are being reported as a wholly reputable organistion. They simply value their privacy; my bet is that QADBAK's owners are from the Middle East and feel that it would be bad for business if their identities were made public given Western sentiment toward Islam.

Well they spent ALOT of money without getting approval of the football association. Like the take over the Portsmouth Dr Sully took forever to get approval as his 'team' of investors were a bit merky.
I think Notts have about 5/6 investors.
But back to F1!!

Sauber will be in. They were stated as "first reserve". With Toyota changing hands, they would have to reapply for a grid slot. But Toyota haven't announced that they're selling the team as far as I know, so there is likely to be some high-tech work going on in Cologne.

Toyota have said they aren't going to sell the team, but at the same time they signed the concord agreement, so the entry that Toyota holds has more value to it than Sauber's. Essentially Toyota need to sort out their entry, I imagine there is some kind of penalty for quitting despite signing till 2012? Once that has been sorted, then Sauber will likely be brought in as reserve.
However, as we have noted, QADBAK has something not quite right about it, and the amount of time left to prepare for next season is not much. Even if they do make the grid in Bahrain, how much development has BMW already put into the 2010 car? I imagine they won't have wanted to spend too much money on a team they've left when it's future is not secure, so I doubt they are doing much work right now.
There's too much incertainty for me to see Heidfeld or Kovalainen hedging their bets on this team. I get the feeling Sauber will be running whoever is left over, such as Kobayashi, Grosjean or Nakajima. Maybe even Soucek if no one picks him up (he isn't particularly impressive but he does have a super license).

What I've always wondered about QADBAK is if thery're so hell bent on secrecy, why sponser a team competing in an international, globally recognised sport?

It's fantastic to see that Toyota tried so hard to field their drivers at other teams after they left. I really hope Kobayashi will kick some butt amongst the new teams next season, and I'll be looking forward whether we'll be seeing some great battles between him and his old teammate, Timo Glock.
Since Toyota left I can't find any reason to watch F1 anymore since it's got so dull over the years, but there are still three drivers for me to cheer for; Trulli, Glock, and Kobayashi. I'm a Glock fanboy, but I won't deny I want Kobayashi to deliver some surprising results more than anything else F1-wise.
On that; do we know what kind of livery or sponsorship Sauber will run? I've always thought the Sauber livery was easily amongst the best ones on the grid, with those beautiful shades of green and blue with the white nose. I really, really hope these colours can make a comeback.

. You're not giving any reasons for your arguments nor are you really contributing to our posts. Inserting that gif has no reason at all and it seems like you wish something bad to happen to Kobayashi. 👎 What you did is violating the rules shown in this thread. Adding pictures, gifs and things thelike is even more of a violation.
