Cars I enjoy:
Nissan GT-R SpecV
Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II
Acura NSX '04 (I might enjoy others, but I haven't tried because this one works for me)
TRD Toyota Modellista Celica TRD Sports M
Mini One (this car seems to get easy AI even on S class races so after getting beaten in incredibly unfair races its nice to give it to the AI once in a while)

Cars I don't like:
Audi R8 LMS Race Car (I really really want to like this car, but I am so uncompetitive in it because of the lift throttle over steer)
Alpine

There is probably a lot of cars I don't like to drive, but since I don't drive them, I don't remember them.

The good:
Ferrari F2007
Lancia Delta S4
subaru impreza prodrive
Cusco Impreza GT300(JGTC)

The bad:
PD F1 car
Mclaren F1 GTR(lift-off oversteer)
Audi R8(original, Team Oreca handles better).

Lancia Stratos

At first I was like "Bleh" but then I tuned it to help out a fellow GTP member and since Ive been having a blast with it on anything Dirt.

pdf1

I don't hate any car in the game.

I had trouble with the PD F1 vehicle until I changed the toe settings (from the default 0/0) to what the Ferrari F2007 has as it's default (+50 front/-50 rear). It still has an incredible power to weight ratio (so it isn't as easy to drive as a 4-door sedan), but it is certainly a faster car than the Ferrari - you just need to learn it's 'personality'.

Ive been saying that for a while 👍 , its quite true. however i was absent minded and never mentioned I also adapted the F2007's suspension settings to make it run better (with a little tuning) Its the fastest thing in the game :)

for the Audi R8, do you mean the open cockpit race car or the production car race car? I don't think there's a Team Oreca version of the production car (Just a team playstation version) but I actually really like the '01 Audi R8 Race Car so I just wanted to be sure. I am going to buy the '05 Audi R8 Team Playstation Oreca Race Car now that you say it's that much better than the original that you would call the original's bad lol. I'm eager to drive it

I mean the open-cockpit car. The Team Oreca Playstation car handles(at least I think) a bit better, though it does have some understeer. It's a better buy in the long-term.

I 'love' the Enzo (and many other cars besides), though I know many people here don't - I could quite easily hate the Enzo too, but that would just be a case of a poor workman blaming his tools. The Enzo's handling is so sublime, the responsiveness leaves nothing to be desired.

300zx definately needs more acceleration and power. Top speed is low too. And it should have better handling since some TT's in real life have a switch to go from touring mode to sport (track) mode. Sport mode greatly increases the handling and capability of the car...I have one I should know...lol

thanks. I bought it and I definetly like it. I actually prefer a lil understeer bcuz I drive 4WD cars way too often. I may buy back the 01' too or trade/share once I get my old PSP up & running ( I upgraded but didn't know you can't play Gran TUrismo game saves on any PSP but the one you used to save the game in the first place).

You know whats a great car with similar amount of HP and handling, the peugot 905 race car. it's older but handles awesome & has 799hp even though it's advertised as 512hp (after you buy it you'll see that it says it has 799hp) and it's only 750kg which is very light for even a group c car. That's my new favorite race car besides the Ferrari F2007

For cars that I love, see the "Favourite car to drive" thread.

For cars that I hate, I don't have any specific ones. Except for maybe the millions of duplicates of Miatas, S2000s, 3000GTs, Renaultsports, Silvias and Vitzs :yuck:.

Hate anything by Dhiatsu. Don't know why PD insist on putting them in EVERY new GT game.

Daihatsus aren't stupid. They may be slow, yes, but they have a rightful place in the game. The inclusion of these kinds of cars is what makes GT unique. Driving them might not give you the excitement of driving a Ferrari, but it does give you the pleasure of simple motoring. Plus you're more likely to own one of them in RL than any of the supercars, so it's something that you can relate to more easily. I agree that there is a bit too much Daihatsus though (just how many Storia/Sirions are there :irked:?).

Similarly, the Viper is actually quite good. Oversteer can be a problem if you're too eager on the throttle, but it has 400+ horsepower and not-so-good suspension, so it's to be expected. Besides, the challenge of taming a wild car is FUN.

The dodge viper is .. totally uncontrollable around any corner.

The Dodge Viper is one of the most consistently high scoring drift cars I have driven, it wouldn't be if it wasn't controllable around any corner.

The Dodge Viper is particularly underrated amongst new drivers, those who practice are rewarded with a confidence and ability which is transferrable between many different cars and courses.

I suppose, with PD being a Japanese company. Ever since GT1 the amount of cars has always been Japanese heavy. I just want PD to include more of an even spread of the world's car manufacturers. Still hate the Viper though.:grumpy:
