Comments: I left out all power upgrades because this is the car I use for lobbies between 400 - 450 hp. Tried to keep this car as balanced as possible, with little wheel spin at corner exits. Constructive criticism welcome by all means. Thanks:)

I just did my 2007 M3 Coupe in this setup at 587HP.
Amazing on Nurburgring, getting a 7:40 time, not too bad.
However, the car seems to bounce at higher speeds ( 160+ mph )
I can only do about 187 on straight-away on Nurburgring.
I have front and rear Aero on car, but still bounces.
You have this issues as well?

No I have not had the same issues as you speak of. I did high speed testing on la sarthe, and nurburgring (bumpiest tracks) never found the car to bottom out or be skittish. This may be because you are running more HP in the car than I intended for it to handle; 450HP is the max i would suggest for this setup. The extra speed is probably the most likely cause of the instability.

I do appreciate you taking the time to try the tune however, thanks!:)
P.S - I will see if there is revisions i can make to the suspension to handle more speed when i get a chance.

7:40? 587Bhp? I can do 7:35 with 450Bhp

Many people such as I myself can as well, but this thread is not about that! So please be nice. If your willing to try out the setup and leave a comment great, but don't rag on someone else.

As long as people are able to enjoy the setup or they are able to improve their time they shouldn't be laughed at. This is exactly what this tune is for, an easy to handle M3 to improve times.

Sorry for the rant but i really think that was uncalled for, you know the track better than him great, but don't belittle people help them instead.

I'm not upset. I am not the best at this game. Are people using the steering wheel? Race better with it?

I use default buttons on the controller.

Probably why I can't win Historic, All Stars and Like the Wind races.

So, at the moment, I am going no where right now.

And I finally got my M3 to do 7:38 on Nurburgring, 2 second boost! woot!

I am using a controller as well but I have my buttons setup up differently. I use R2 for gas and L2 for brake. It gives more precision, and allows me to modulate the throttle better.

Good job on the two second improvement btw.

Did two laps on Nordschleife with it and got 7:40.742, soft sports tires, 425bhp. Quite enjoyable and easy to control 👍

Probably done the track under 10 times total so i'm waaay too careful at some points, but it definitely can go fast. Maybe a touch too much understeer, not sure. Playing with wheel.

Niigma - I'm really enjoying this tune - the car feels right, and very smooth to drive. taking all the weight out and leaving the bhp as is has really worked.

I'm sorry I can't give technical details on why I like this tune, but it just makes this car very enjoyable to drive. well done.

The CSL is lighter and has a different weight balance, so I dont think my tune would translate perfectly, although it may be a good base to start with.

Does anyone else find this car too slow to accelerate? I've done all the upgrades. Even if the horsepower is relatively impressive, the torque is so weak. Do you think it's due to the weight of the car? Too bad we can't put a turbo on it. I've been trying to tune the car but it runs slower on most tracks in comparison to my WRX STI (345hp).

What tracks are you running the car on? And what is the weight of the Sti? I am going to assume your running the Sti on tighter circuits with a short final drive.

Try raising the final drive on the M3 to shorten the gear ratios and increase acceleration. However you will not be able to get around the fact that the car still weighs over 3000lbs.

Usually I run this car on more open circuits like Nurburgring, Le Sarthe, Suzuka GP, Fuji, etc...where acceleration isnt as important as rhythm, percision and consistency. Hope this helps.:)

I have no idea why I said 345 hp in my previous post. Sorry about that. The STI is 497hp and 1219kg. It's max torque is 465ft-lb/5400rpm. I think it's really the difference in torque since the max hp of the M3 is 547hp at 1342kg weight.
