Well, we have A-Spec which is the player driving, and B-Spec which is the player directing another racer... what would C-Spec be?

C-Spec would be telling your race engineer how to instruct his driver. He would even choose not to listen to you sometimes and tell his driver to do something else and his driver wouldn't even listen to him either sometimes, making it an extremely fun scenario that isn't at all frustrating.

I'm guessing in C-spec you get to be the laundry boy that gets to wash the main race driver's suit. But instead of doing your job, you sometimes take the suit home, sleep with it.....smell it....and have dreams about driving a race car one day too...but it never comes cuz you're just a laundry boii

Both the driver an AI drive in races, like grid. i enjoyed that in grid and having it in Gran Turismo would mean more money coming in on every race.
Thinking about it i wish this was implemented in the game.

C-spec? you are your pit crew
D-spec? You are your pit crew chief tellin the pit crew what to do

In C-spec you control the sanctioning body, making goofy rules changes each season, bizarre interpretations of the rules during the season and imposing controversial penalties on drivers and teams.

C-Spec is the guy on the couch directing you.

Edit: Or it could be the big guy upstairs.

C-spec. You breed the drivers and tame them. You collect their produce and have them on a farm. You put the runt of the litter at toro rosso:sly:.

C-Spec is where you operate a race track (created in course maker) and host events for other people. You'll have to manage:

Track hire prices.
Spectator ticket prices.
Track staff.
Staff wages.
Race timetables.
Track maintenance.
Clean ups after a wreck.

And so on and so on. :)

C-Spec is where you sit with the audience. Watching cars race by. Over, and over. And over, and over. Did I say over? And over...

Well, anything's better than B-Spec...

LOL. Win.

C-Spec is where you become Bob's Bob.

He tells you how to race.

And you constantly hold off going flat out... when's he's screaming at his monitor telling you to floor it!

Plus side is that YOU get to choose the tires to race with!

This would be an ace idea for the A-spec endurance races - I'd grind out a few hours, then hand over to one of the Bobs for a while.

Couldnt we do that in GT4 I forget? Im pretty sure I did a few hours on LeMans then Left Bob Thenob in charge. I went to bed then got up the next day to find hed been stuck in a sand trap for 4 hours (the time he was lagging the leaders)...Thats how he came to own his exotic surname!

I think c spec would you directing a pd programer while they made gt5. You'd only have one command, that's to tell the programmer to mash their keyboard and to forget about testing. Every so often a Sony manager pops into the room and asks if its finished yet, this causes your programmer to lose his cool. If you stall Sony for 5 years you win.and of course there's no pause or fast forwarding allowed.

C spec is when you play the role of Bernie Ecclestone, are mega rich, get driven around in ultra expensive cars, date girls 1/3 of your age or younger, get robbed and bashed for wearing $300,000 of jewelry and part time you govern Formula 1
