That guy didn't really get platinum. If you look at the dates, he received the trophy for getting gold on every event 2 weeks before he ever hit b-spec level 40. So obviously he couldn't have earned a gold on the 24 nurb on b-spec before he unlocked it.
 
I'm a little downed on this achievement. I know I will get it eventually. But I just can't gold the x1 challenges and I consider my self to be in the upper 5% of gt5ers. It's just so hard with cockpit view such a chore

If you're using the DS3, then that's the problem, if you're using a wheel, then you're not good enough. If you want gold replays of the 3 challenges, just ask.

Nope, to get platinum trophy for the EVERY game you should get every other trophy.

If you're using the DS3, then that's the problem, if you're using a wheel, then you're not good enough. If you want gold replays of the 3 challenges, just ask.

I have a g25. I love the x1 and all I just am a chaser not a time trialer. That's my real issue. I also lend my self to more gt2 style cars not formula. But I'm still working on it slowly but surly.

I needed some 9-10 hours to gold them all, so it takes time. Suzuka alone ate 4-5 hours I believe, what a bitch. :lol:

You'll see that he got gold standard trophy a way before he got level 40 in b-spec so he could've finish the final race there.
So either b-spec events doesn't counts to: "Get a gold trophy in every race event, license test and special event." or that trophy not legit.
But it's most likely that he's just mad and b-spec races really doesn't counts for that trophy, check his profile on official Sony site.

62 platinum trophies, 3206 total. I guess he's playing at least 10 hours each day.
Why i'm saying "just 10" ? Because if he would've played 24/7, then...

Dude is probably using hacked saves for most of these games, and with the PS3 having it's security problem at the moment any trophy is possible.

Gold Standard
Get a gold trophy in every race event, license test and special event.

Considering B-Spec level unlocks things in the same way a-spec level does, B-spec events obviously must be golded for that trophy.

I doubt that. You are not forced to win all B-spec endurance races, in order to get this trophy: Hidden Trophy

These don't have to all be won, just race every race, in either A-Spec or B-Spec.
,so it is not too far fetched to assume that it not necessary to gold all B-spec events. I really believe the Gold standard trophy is related to only A-spec stuff, just a possibility.

But you can, someone has already posted proof elsewhere on GTPlanet. They got it after golding all of Aspec. The trophy description is wrong. It seems that like the series races the All Gold Trophy is based on either Aspec or Bspec. I believe someone else who has golded Vettel is deliberating completely Bspec before Aspec to check whether All Gold is Aspec only or either Aspec or Bspec, but it definitely is not everything.

Yup I saw it. Not everyone bought it on the day of release, and not everyone want's to play a-spec straight away. People may want to do b-spec, licences, special events, seasonal events etc first.
 
I got it too ... I got it after completing B-spec 24h Nordschleife. At that point I still had to do the A-spec 24h Nordschleife ...

anyway - I have golded everything now ...
 
Just got my last trophy a bit earlier. "Collect 1000 cars". So this game is finally platinumed! Time for a break from gt5 for a week or so after it being the only game I've played since last November. After the break I need to buy about 100 more cars I don't have to get every car in the game and do Nurb 24h.
