What time on a thursday? I can do daytime racing but im in UK so it would be different to your times.
 
UPDATE:

We now have at least 6 racers confirmed to participate so the race will go on as scheduled.

So far interest has been low so unless I can get at least 5 racers I will have to postpone indefinitely. I am looking for casual / average drivers looking for competitive races during the week. Pacific time racers work best but all are free to join.
First race will be at Laguna Seca.
400 HP
1200 kg
Tcs ABS and driving lane are fine

So far online has been very hit or miss for me. I'll send you a FR right away. Don't be discouraged, and stay patient. There HAS to be a lot of people looking for this kind of setup. By the way, your website is amazing!

I am definitely interested in this...though I won't have a car ready to race for tomorrow then I am away for 1 week so will miss the following wednesday as well. The other issues are time (after 8pm GMT before 1130pm GMT) and lag issues?? This US based right? so ,may cause connection issues if I am from the UK...but I will keep an eye out for you lot and get something going in a couple of weeks...as definitely an average driver (at best) atm. Good Luck with tomorrow and give it a few weeks for numbers to grow..cheers for the invite..👍
 
Okay I'll go ahead and add you guys in also. I'm looking at 15 laps with one mandatory pit for most tracks. If you guys get a second check out the site thats where you will find the rules, regulations, awards and more. Oh and I appreciate you guys joining in.

All right, I'm adding you in right now. As for the cars we will be running I am not sure. I'm still debating between a few cars myself. Part of the fun I believe is finding just the right car for the track and making it fit the regulations and tuning it just right and then racing against someone else that has put in the same work in there car.
 
Butch, I've tried out some of my cars that fit the regs. Grand Turismo 350 RS and Impreza WRX Type R worked well, but there will be many cars that I think should be competitive. If there is a killer car out there, I haven't found it. As far as tuning goes, I'm a total noob. If I get time, I may search for some tuning help.

LOL I usually end up making the car slower! Sometimes I get lucky though. I feel that just diving right in and tinker with stuff helps me learn a little quicker. Well at least for me but I am by no means the fastest person on here :cool:

Yes. I hope this doesn't post twice (I'm using the gtplanet app for android ATM) but I'm thinking of a 16 lap race with a mandatory pit entering the 8th lap.

Uh oh.

LOL! I'm thinking since this is a tuner league I gotta get a Japanese tuner car for the first race so I'm debating between a Supra, 300Z, or RX-7. So far none of these cars have been as fast as the viper. I managed a 1:32.ish best lap in the viper and I'm at least 4 seconds slower with the above cars.
 
I have had good luck using the '02 RX-7 but it is currently at 1051kg so I cant use it for this race.

I would think the 370Z would be a decent car but I dont think I own any so no first had experience with it.

That's a good idea for anybody still debating which car to drive. I'm really excited about the race and i hope we get a good turnout. I'm eager to see what everybody shows up in.

Cool your on the list! Race cars are the only prohibited cars in this event. Tuner cars (such as spoon or hks) are fine. If they seem to be to dominate then we will touch back on it but for now its cool.
