hey guys i'm back! I came down with a really bad flu that put me in bed for 2 days straight and I'm just barely getting back together. I really love the fact that you guys have stepped up and continued the race. In fact if you want to send me the results I will post them on the website and continue the series championship. Also if anybody can upload pics of the races that would be awesome too.

oh and heres the link to the converter: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/gmt-converter.htm

Thanks bro, my uncled made me a "hot Tottie"...it contains whiskey, boiling hot doctor pepper honey and i don't know what else but it taste like crap at least LOL. Seems to be working though!

I call NO replaying of the race tonight that shows my driving!!!
That was quite the eye opener. First time online and I was like WOW, this is seriously different from offline. I had setup a z4 m coupe the other day and i went to do a practice lap before the race and I couldnt keep the backend straight to save my life. I switched to an awd car and that helped a lot, but wow, craziness.
Good racing guys! I was impressed by you all!

Madwi, I did save the replay, but only to watch my stupid screw ups. Don't worry, it will get easier. I think we should allow more aids next week, at least racing line. I think that would help us slowpokes catch up a little. Hey, Madwi, thanks for the credits and leveling for my bspec bob. We missed ya, dj.

Yeah I didnt think of practicing without the driving line. I had a great time despite my horrendous driving lol. I thought the 'ring was my arch nemesis, oh no, suzuka has taken that title!

Man I wish I was out there racing with you guys. So how did it go? If one of you could send the results ill post them up tomorrow on the website. Also I find that I'm lost without the driving line to lol

1. grayfox32 nissan skyline gt-r v spec ii
2. lpdigit subaru impreza wrx sti
3. thlogan subaru impreza coupe wrx typeR
4. snoopykuan ruf 3400s '00
5. idontknoworcare subaru impreza sedan wrx sti

big mistake using the ruf. the tail thinks it is the nose and the tail keeps wanting to lead the nose.

i had 1 clean lap out of 15. humbling.

All righty guys! This week its a USA invasion as we are going to be handling high horsepower muscle cars in Japan!

Here are the regs this week:

USA only

1979 or Earlier

600 HP

1300 KG Weight Limit

No Race/RM Cars

Race Soft Tires

ABS, TCS & Driving line are fine

Head over to the voting forum to vote on the track. Here's the link to the voting forum: http://supertunercar.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/4360156-voting-for-the-usa-invasion-track

I'll be borrowing a friends PS3 so I might be able to take part in this weeks event.

That sounds like tons(literally) of fun. Hopefully, we will get a bigger turnout this week and we certainly would like to see you out on the track. I imagine the GT with drawls are getting pretty fierce by now.

Im hoping I can make it Thursday but I have a study group at school starting at 6:30 est and im not sure how long its going to last.

yeah the gt withdrawals are getting to me bad! My cousin has a ps3 but getting him to let me borrow it is easier said then done. I'm hoping to get to race with you guys but if i'm not available can anyone host the race?

i can host again if need to.

are the cars USA made only? or just pre-1979? i ask because of the "USA invasion"...

USA only this time. I'm thinking classic muscle cars. Btw I talked to my cousin and he's going to let me borrow his ps3 for league events! I luckily backed up my data on a thumb drive so I'm thinking all I need to do is sign in to his ps3 with my psn account and load the save data right?

That sounds right to me. Create a seperate profile on the PS3 then load the data and sign in to PSN. Thats how i would go about it.

Awesome thanks! So whats everybody looking at running? Do we have a Ford club here or is Mopar going to rule the day? Then again the bow tie has a couple of contenders to throw in also....Hmmm choices, choices:cool:

BTW: We have two votes so far for the track so if you haven't voted go on down to the supertunercar.webs.com voting forum and make your voice heard. I will throw in my vote if there is any ties.

I saw a chevelle in the online dealership. I might pick it up although I kinda wanted to race a Premium model car...

Okay guys I'm going to end the voting tomorrow morning so make sure you vote! Also I will have the lounge open @ 1:30pm pt for practice runs and some races for fun if you want to stop by.

Nice to see someone on the west coast in a normal time zone racing, I'm gonna try and stop in and see if you have an opening. I've been looking for a pst racing schedule the gmt are too tough for me.

cant make to practice. brought a shelby mustang and was thinking about running that instead of the mach 1. but the weight loss made her too light. bummer. going to be sliding around in the mach 1 instead.

yeah feel free to add me and jump into my lounge whenever its open.

Okay my tie breaker vote goes to Tokyo R 246 so Tokyo it is! Thanks to everybody that voted!

Also the Original Post has been updated to reflect this weeks race.

EDIT:
Damnit! I may not be able to get ahold of the PS3 afterall. My cousin's father is tripping so I might not be able to get it. As of right now the practice i was planning on holding is canceled and I may not be able to make it tomorrow. DAMN!:banghead:

In the event I can't make it go ahead and run the race and send me the results so I can post them online. This sucks because I had just won a '67 Mercury that I was planning on using for the race. F#$#@!!!!

I am going to postpone the event to Friday @ 5:30pm PT. Hopefully I will be ready by then. I apologize for all this guys.
