I'll give a top 5 a go...

1. Sauber Mercedes LM Race Car '88
2. Nissan R92C LM Race Car '89
3. Peoguet 905 LM Race Car '92
4. Bentley Speed 8 LM Race Car '03
5. Jaguar XJ-9R LM Race Car '88

Pretty boring list coz all these cars are LeMan Racers... But these cars carve up.

This is a good list. I've seen the Mercedes, R92CP and Bentley Speed 8 only once while I've never seen the other two. The XJR-9 was on the online dealership once, too bad I couldn't afford it at the time.

The ones in bold only seen once (bought them) The Bentley was in the ocd at one time and the C5-R seen I think 2 or 3 times. (1900+ days in) If you have the money get em!!!!!

McLaren F1 GTR Long Tail (seen only once, didn't have the Cr.)
Toyota GT-One (never seen)
Pescarolo Judd C60 (never seen)
Golf I (seen only once, bought it)
Formula GT (not talking about OCD, never seen in UCD)
Mercedes CLK-LM (seen only once, bought it)
TVR Cerbera Speed 12 (seen only 2 times, bought it both times)
Lamborghini Diablo NOMAD (seen only once, bought it)
Many more.

I have GT5 since January.

I've had the game since the release and NEVER seen an HKS S15 GENKI Silvia :( Its even my favorite car D: The only thing that keeps me playing GT5, is looking for it...
 
Now seriously:
Ford GT'02 (never seen, got it from a trade)
Infiniti FX45 (saw it only today)
Honda CR-X 1.6 SIR (only saw once)
Acura HSC Concept (only once)
Ford Falcon (never seen, got it from a trade)

Amuse S2000 Street Version and R1 (never seen)

According to the official car list here, there is a standard 787B, but I have yet to see it and I'm at something like day 5,000 at least.

I've never seen it once, nor do I know anyone that does have it. So that is the rarest car, cause I have all the other 'rare' ones :P

I got it as lvl 12 or 17 ticket.
Also Honda NSX LM Road Car is extremly rare, seen it once and bought it.

Keep in mind that the rarity version of a car on that site is determined by how many people registered on that site have that car in their virtual garage. It isn't determined by how many times it will pop up in the UCD.

Well yeh i know that but its a fairly good average being as there is, and i quote from the site....

The Rarity (R*) indicator is based on more than 10,000 site's garages containing 1.8 million models


The op wasn't how often do they pop up in the ucd it was the top 10 rare cars & these are the rarest cars i own that are in GT5
 
I picked up a 62 (maybe 67) corvette which has writing all over it. Its around 566hp and sounds awesome. Ive never seen any pics of it on here, and im away from home right now, so i cant go check what it is. Maybe that is a rare one............ i will check on it when i get back and post back.

I see these ones every once in awhile. Like very 8-10 races on of them pops up.

I'd say the rarest car to me would be the R390 Road version. I've never seen it before. :grumpy:
Then the Zonda LM race car mentioned above, seen that once.
