TOP 10 RARE CAR UCD non premium non prize car

The other day I saw a Viper Team Oreca #91 with 0 miles, thought that was quite unusual. Never seen a Ford GT '02 or a Ford Falcon either.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've seen that one. (Over 10 that's for sure)

I think it has to do with your level, because when I turned Level 23 the Hiroto Zexel GTR would come every 4-5 races. Even had three of them in the UCD at once! Most of the time 2. This was around the end of February where everyone was looking for this car. I just didn't have the money and when I turned level 24 (When i did have the money) I never saw it again. And I still haven't seen it.

Level 19 I saw the Chaperall 2J numerous times. Atleast 6 times.I saw it last weekend though.
 
For my UCD:
Audi R8 '01 (have not seen either one, traded for the Team Joest)
Chapparall 2D (never)
Chapparall 2J (once, at level 15 or so)
FGT(never)
Pagani LM
McLaren F1 GTR(saw it once, bought it, then traded it for an X! to get my b-spec grind on)
 
I think only people with 1300-1500 days of play or more can safely contribute to this thread.I'm at 1380 day,never seen the Audi R8 Race Car ‘01 in red,NISMO 400R ‘96 and Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (C5) ‘00

According to the official car list here, there is a standard 787B, but I have yet to see it and I'm at something like day 5,000 at least.

I've never seen it once, nor do I know anyone that does have it. So that is the rarest car, cause I have all the other 'rare' ones :P

The standard 787b is a result of porting from gtpsp to gt5. Their 787b becomes standard.

I see these ones every once in awhile. Like very 8-10 races on of them pops up.

I'd say the rarest car to me would be the R390 Road version. I've never seen it before. :grumpy:

Haha I have that one and saw it 2-3 times after I bought it... really seams to be different for everyone... kind of the same for you with the Viper Oreca...
 
Um, I think the OP wanted a list of the top 10 rare UCD cars that aren't prize cars.

You all gave him lists of the top 10 cars you want, that you think are rare.

He wants to know the top 10 most rare cars in the game. The ones you never see. Therefore, you probably don't even know about.

I would like to see this list as well. And no, it isn't 10 race cars.

Yes, exactly, what was / is 'rare' for one person is different for another. Keep playing the game long enough and refeshing your UCD (and subsequently checking it) means it won't be long before you see every car that ever pops up in there.

I've seen, and got all the cars mentioned in this thread, a long time ago, alot of them I bought multiple times. Sooner or later everyone will see every car, you just gotta keep refreshing and checking religiously and any car you want will be yours, it's pretty easy.

You just have to keep checking your UCD after every 2-3 races, every time. If you're racing online then you got to make the commitment to come out of the lobby and check once or twice.

It's like anything in life, more often than not you want something that's difficult to get you have to work for it or at least make an effort to get it.

Doing a few races a day or week and checking your UCD every now and then will get you nowhere, you have to refesh it and check it as much as possible, or trade for the cars you want.

Once you got all the decent / rare / cult / classic cars from the UCD you can then move on.

The rarity factor isn't determined by how many people own the car, it's how often it appears, some cars appear alot, some less, others even less etc etc, it's been well documented on this site many times, it's different for different people - how many times does this have to be explained???
 
It's evil how they mucked up the UCD with the update... one wonders if there's still a pattern or if it's now really random. For those who completed their wishlists before 1.07... I hate you... :lol:

So far, the cars I want but can't find are:

Nismo 400R
Ford Falcon
Golf GTi Mk I (didn't notice till this was mentioned, but it is rather rare)

Race cars... meh. :lol:
 
My "rare" UCD cars would be:

Chevy Corvette C5R - I've seen it just once... didn't buy it...
Alfa Romeo 155 V6 - Twice... didn't buy it...
VW Nardo Concept - Twice... didn't buy it (I got it from a trade)
Pagani Zonda LM - Just once, bought it right away :D
Ford GT '02 - Twice, bought it the 2 time ;)
Pagani Zonda C12 S 7.3 - Just once, didn't buy it...
Nismo 400R - Haven't seen it... ever :crazy:
Ford Falcon - Once, didn't buy it... (now is when you may start thinking "does this guy buys anything... at all? :scared:)
Audi R8 LMS Race Car - Seen it 2 times... both times in brillianrot... I got it via trade :)
Bentley Speed 12 - 2 or 3 times... got it via trade also :)
Loctite ZEXEL GTR - 2 times... didn't buy it...
Honda NSX LM Proto Race car - Once... guess what I did...
Honda NSX LM Proto Road car - 3 times... didn't... wait... I did buy this one :)

Yes, but take a random RX-7 that has a rarity of 10. Is it because everyone wants it and can't find it? Or is it because nobody wants it and doesn't buy it?

The problem with the rarity indicator is that there are some cars many just aren't keen on buying. If everyone was actually hunting those cars, they probably wouldn't be as rare. IMO, there's a difference between a rare car everyone wants and can't find and a rare car very few want that may or may not be able to find.

What did they do? I spent the last 10 days buying every car I needed. 250 standards, got them all. And I only had one traded (but ended up seeing it later, so I could have found them all).

I feel much better now having every car I can get (curse you region-locked dlc 👎 ).
 
The most rare one has to be the audi r8 01' in red/silver it is never in the ocd. The yellow one is but this one is never there.

I,ve got every car in the game and started to collect the coloured standard one,s that can,t be painted but come in different colours,Finally got the black impressa super touring car #97 begining to think it didn,t exsist.

Zonda LM race car
Vertigo Race car

Haven't had the chance to drive them yet.

I wish I had known.
I won a Level 17 ticket last night for finally winning the Cote d'Azur classic race. I gave up trying to cash the ticket after ten tries for a car I need (had just over 900 at the time), and the Silvia randomly came up - twice!
(I've since arranged to trade the gift ticket to another player to guarantee I get a car I need...)

The Zonda is a sweet ride.
The Vertigo is a bit of a dog, I find.
(Set my B-Spec Bobs loose in it, and even with it fully tuned my Bobs usually don't with Endurance races with it...)
