TOP 10 RARE CAR UCD non premium non prize car

So on the subject of rare cars, I have a dilema, a Bentley Speed 8 just came up in my UCD for the first time, but of course I am about 450K short of cash to buy it.
Do I sell a number of my high value premium cars to buy it, or do I pass and hope it comes up again?

It's evil how they mucked up the UCD with the update... one wonders if there's still a pattern or if it's now really random. For those who completed their wishlists before 1.07... I hate you... :lol:

So far, the cars I want but can't find are:

Nismo 400R
Ford Falcon
Golf GTi Mk I (didn't notice till this was mentioned, but it is rather rare)

Race cars... meh. :lol:

Yeah, I found a Nismo 400R early on and bought it, but I haven't seen it again since.

I think only people with 1300-1500 days of play or more can safely contribute to this thread.I'm at 1380 day,never seen the Audi R8 Race Car ‘01 in red,NISMO 400R ‘96 and Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (C5) ‘00

Have played this every day since it came out but have not seen the nismo yet,
Got the corvette a couple of weeks ago and the audi appeared in the UCD today

The most rare one has to be the audi r8 01' in red/silver it is never in the ocd. The yellow one is but this one is never there.

Wrong, bought it on my secondary game save yesterday or the day before.
 
Are we talking rarest in terms of never showing up in the UCD, or rarest in terms of no one owns them because tey are so crap no one wants to buy them?
 
I have no clue. If it's the latter... the rarest car in the game is definetly the S2000. The former, I don't think there is a rare car...

W12 Nardo for me. Saw it once on the 26th of November but couldn't afford it. Haven't seen it since.

Pretty boring list coz all these cars are LeMan Racers... But these cars carve up.

the XJ-9R is the only one I've seen out of that list.. very disappointed I didn't have the CR at the time..

No, just that some of the variations have a rarity rating of 10 on mygranturismo.com, and I don't think many people bother to buy the exact same car, just with a US, EU, or JP on the end.

I am really looking for that Sauber Mercedes LM Race Car...
 
Ug, wish I hadn't opened this thread, I think I'm going to be sick. That is, I just saw a few of these cars in my ucd, and didn't buy. I did jump on the "rare" Viper Concept, but............ These 2 cars Pagani - Zonda C12S 7.3 '02 and Panoz - Esperante GTR-1 Race Car '98 are currently in my OCD, I should jump I take it? At one point I had 2 440 six pack 'Cuda's, bought the second not realizing I already had one, didn't know they were rare, so I sold 1 arrggghhh

hmmm, 5 (at least) of the cars listed here as rare, are currently in my OCD. (er, are the cars the same in everyone's OCD?) Makes me wonder. I'd hate to jump on a bunch of cars that will soon no longer be rare.

What about the Minolta Toyota ever being in the dealership? Nearly everyone already won it though.

I have collected every single car in this game and most of the color variations as well. All I see here in this thread are the popular rare cars. What about the not so popular cars out there. For me I had a hard time finding the virtego, I think top ten hardest cars for me were

1. Gillet Virtego
2. Ollum Motors speria Prototype 04
3. Zonda C12S 7.3 '02
4. Skyline GT-R (R33) '95
5. Aristo V300 '00

I can't remember anymore as I said these are the cars that I had a hard time finding
 
Well, the Nardo just appeared in my UCD, got it. I'd like to ask another question. Has anyone ever NOT seen a Skyline in there UCD? :)
 
I've probably seen all cars that you guys listed here, except for that friggin FGT that does not show in my UCD, so i can complete the last events in the game. :crazy:

I'm still waiting for the Speed 12 and C9... two of my favorites. I have them in arcade mode thanks to GTPSP, but I want to max out that TVR... mmm, wheelspin!
 
I'm ucd addicted, and car rarity depends of the random 'point 0' you managed installing the game (or whatever they randomize the point 0).

Three cars I never have seen:
- hpa R32
- buick special
- lister storm

Cars I saw only once, and only in the last weeks:
- corvette c5r
- acura hsc
- starion
- zonda 7.3

For others, like the Panda, I waited for more than a month.... just to see 3 or 4 of them in sequence!!!
As I said at first, this depends of 'point 0'.
