The Weekly Drift Magazine
This is week 2, so i'm looking to improve the magazine every single week. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it for this week's send me a pm, but still send me pictures, and i'll take the top ten & post them on the "magazine. Also, I'd like to have someone that can send me 5 facts on a new car every week, if you can, pm me and tell me that you can.

Tech Article
Some facts on the Nissan S15, to inform fellow drifters!

Car: Nissan S15

Fact 1:
Michihiro Takatori, who came in 9th place last year of Formula D, drives the S15, powered by the VSupercharged VK56 engine, kicking out 470/450 horsepower.

Fact 2: The S15 Nissan Silvia was introduced in Japan on January 16th 1999, Unfortunately the S15 is currently the last model of the Silvia range. With an aging engine that was unable to meet the tough new emission standards Nissan ceased production of the S15 in 2002. This is unlikely to be the last we see of the Silvia badge though and hopefully Nissan revive the 2 door sports car in the near future.

Fact 3: Nissan S15, also called the AREX Elite 951, and Nissan 200SX.

Fact 4:Japan saw a new version of the Silvia (S15) in 1999, now boasting 250 hp (184 kW) from its SR20DET engine, thanks to a ball-bearing turbocharger upgrade, as well as improved engine management. The SR20DE (non-turbo motor) featured 165 hp (121 kW).
The S15 Silvia included aggressive styling inside and out, updating the previous Silvia styling in-line with modern car design trends.

Fact 5:The S15, is only sold in Japan, and New Zealand, but is available as a "grey" import in most other countries.

Drifter of the Week: SRPanda02
Drifter of this Week's Prize: Nissan Spec-R Aero (S15) '02 & Nissan 240SX (S14) '96

Fact 6: The S15 is Gat dam sexy. Has it really been a week since the last mag?

I totaly agree with you, its really secy. But not in gt5 with those wheels tucked under the wheel arches (excluding rm)

Ya that's one of the biggest problems I have with the car it just doesn't look right. Having the wheel/tire tucked in so far from the edge of the fender takes away from the sportyness of the car.

Thats pretty much the only reason I dont drift that car. The rear fitment is tragic.

It just gets old. I know I posted a pic last week there but it is a shame how much people drift that track, theyre missing out on the rest of the game.

I drift Fuji D1, Suzuka D1, & Tsukuba D1, most of the time i'm on, but the other tracks to me don't matter, I like drifting tracks that are real. It doesn't get old, if the picture is good, then the picture is good, idc where people drift at. My fav. track's Fuji.

hey VansOffTheWall thanks for putting me as drifter of the week in the first mag,and thanks for the prize car its the first exotic car in my garage and probably will be the be the only one for a while. Good luck to the next drifter of the week.
