NEW MEMBERS:

All new members has to do a "livequali" on Suzuka with the Recommended Calsonic GT-R.
Its a 7 lap challenge held at Suzuka(Open Lounge-RaceQ High), with tire&fuel wear OFF.
You have to do a time under 104% of the fastest time (1´53.491) to join the Championships. It means now a time under 1´58.031.

A car can be used by MAX 2 Teams/4 Racers

PP-LIMIT 605 - 617

You are allowed to buy/use any engine upgrade/turbo so long Your car stays at its given PP. Also Rigidity Improvement is allowed

ALL PP:S CAN CHANGE TO THE CARS BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS!!!

613PP for GT-R
605PP for NSX


PP-PENALTIES

We are also going to use a PP-Penalty system here were 2 drivers leading the table gets less PP. 1st gets -4PP. 2nd -2PP
This system will be from the 2nd Race forward, and will be used through the whole season.

We will be giving warnings for unsportsmanlike behaviour on/off the track/ in races.
1 warning - no penalties, but everyone should consider if they have a too aggressive driving style.
2 warnings - 1-20 points will be reduced from both the driver and his Teampoints.
Blockings, Corner Cuttings, Ramming and other Unsportmanlike behaviour on/off track will give You Pointpenalties!
If we consider that a driver is ruining it for the others(despite the warnings), we will suspend the driver from the rest of the season.
Just PM the Stewards (all of them), with the exact time of the incident, and who was involved.
We will watch the Replay and concider if a warning/penalty will be given.

If You have "ghost car" issues, leave the track! Racing with "Ghostcar" issues will resultate in DQ.
If Youre not showing up in race, and havent inform about it, You will have 2 points penalty!
If You go accusing/argueing about incidents in public(in the thread) it will lead to 1 Point penalty!! DO IT ONLY THROUGH PM:S!

Race Day:

30 min warm-up.

The Room will open up 19.30GMT. The drivers must be in the Room by 19.45 at last.


Quali:

Q starts 20.00GMT-->20 min.

Everybody enters the track in PP-Order, lowest first.
Wait in the Pitlane for so long that the Host/Steward types START in the text chat

You have to stay on the track on a safe place when You´re
happy with Your laptime. DON`T STAY IN PIT, cause it might erase Your laptimes,
or the Game itself can mix-up the results.
That has happened too many times....So stay on the track until the Race starts!!!
When the Game clock shows 20.00 min, I will start the Race.

Race Procedure:

Laps depending on track. Race time about 1 hour.

We will use Standing Start with FALSE START CHECK!
Remember to be xtra careful in the first turns/first lap, cause Your tires are cold.

POINTS:

8 best Races out of 10 will be counted in the Final Table!

Same points will be given in both Races. 1-20p.

I suggest that no one is using their PS3 Wireless, and not
join if Your NAT is 3! If U got issues, try to change Your
UPnP to ON in the router. Clear Your System Cache when
entering an on-line Game. Im sure all of us has a Friend
that is pro with these issues.Google is also Your friend.
DON`T DOWNLOAD anything on Your PC when You join an online event!

I have never raced here bar a few 2 lap A specs and the Total drama tour when me and v/panginas and Fittcp had some good racing. Will be interesting.

I am really shocked I'm doing so well in the championship. 2 of my mates (diesel and Lennox) both DC'd in one race but still I think I'm doing well to be 6 points away from 2nd :D. 1st is a not going to happen, Pelteon is like the GT version of the great Kimi Raikonnen!
 
We have to discuss and test yet a little bit, but I
think we try now for three(3) races to raise the
PP-level for Nismo Z to 619 and NSX to 607.

We can always change back if it seems that they
get too competitive....

So try now with these PP:s when You test in tokyo,
and remember to fill in Your times in the spreadsheet. And be honest.....otherwise we
could change back the PP.s after Tokyo if Your
race pace is much better......
 
Why tamper with the PP now? In the middle of the season. Falcon, Glitter have shown that the NSX is a fast car and Bigadz, Paginas has shown that the Nismo Z is a fast car as well :(

Well, I think honestly that the Z has lack of power, which
was pretty noticeable in Trial Mountain when Bigadz
couldn´t keep up on the straights with the Lexus and GT-R.

The NSX problem is slow cornering speeds, (and tire wear) I think 2 PPs
(ca 10 hp) could help there a little. It could though be
too fast on straights at certain tracks, but that we will see.
We tested yesterday at tokyo, and the gtr could overtake
the NSX(607PP) on main straight from slipstream.

As its said in Post #1, EVERYTHING CAN BE CHANGED ACCORDING TO RULES AND REGULATIONS. JUST STAY TUNED!.

All I want is that the cars would be as equal as possible.👍

Its a long Championship, we can easily try these now in
three races.:)

Falcon and Glitter has shown in the Live Q what they could
do with a GT-R for example..:scared:

Bigadz is faster than what he has showed so far with the Z at 617PP.
Think there also that he would be faster with the Lexus or GT-R.
Paginas hasn´t really shown nothing yet.:dopey:

You're the boss. I know the rules and that they can be changed. I just posted my opionion.
Bullying Paginas is the best way to start a weekend ;).
 
not sure about the Z but agree with the NSX.....think the NSX has crap brakes anyway, so after a slip to stay with it the GT-R should b able to go past into turn 1

btw, found Apollo's hosting to be the best, no frame rate drop
 
Hmmm, strange because when he hosted the other day I say that you hade lag issued Diesel. You were all over the place at some point...
 
When discussing PP ratings of the cars, its important that we try to find some facts supporting a potential change rather than subjective inputs from drivers. One way to look at it is --"how has the car been treating me so far"-- and compare it with --"how did I do in the same car qualifying".

The Nissan "Z".
Bigadz qualified as 8th and is 7th in the standings. Paginas qualified in 21st and is 14th in the standings. These two drivers have been better off with the "Z" than what they did in the same car qual. The "Z" 617PP rating seems OK so far.


the NSX.
Glitterus qualified in 5th and is 2nd in the standings. Falcon qualified in 2nd but is 13th in the table. Looking at these numbers the NSX 605PP might be too low but I think at Tokyo the NSX will be very strong so it might be good to wait until after Tokyo to potentially adjust the NSX PP rating

The Lexux and specifically the Petronas
The Petronas and Denso have different tires and the Petronas have been very strong so far. FittCP qualed as 19th and is 4th in the table. Glutinious qualed as 27th and is 14th in the table. Nissman did a 1'14.xxx at TM, faster than he been with his 532hp (620PP) GT-R in his own series. If anything, the Petronas might have too high PP.

There are too many drivers using the GT-R to make any conclusions.

Bottom line. I cannot find any "facts" that supports a change in the PP now. The one that is closest is that the Petronas have too high PP. But my thinking here is, "Good for them" that they had the guts to go with the impopular Lexus for the championship.
 
Here is my second "facts" way to look at the cars PP, and its looking at the engine. The other way run a champioship is to do a same HP rule. Here is how the cars engine rates with our PP rules

The GTR/NSX/Z have very similar HP. The best engine is the "Z" which have bettter torque. The Lexus has the best engine and specifically the Petronas has been doing very well so far in the championship. But my thinking again is..... Good for them that they had the guts to go with the impopular Lexus. Everybody had the chance to pick the Lexus at the start of the championship so don't come now and cry wolf because you didn't.

So what if you and Max would have choosen the Lexus Denso? Would you still have thought that it had to many PP's?
 
I think its much more interresting to go with PP instead
of HP limits. Everyone can play now with Downforce,
specially now in Tokyo.:)

I think theres a little problem with the Z, because You
cant remove the default turbo from the car....You
don´t really need on any track that ridiculous amount
of torque.....maybe Monaco would be the only track you
could have some use of it, but we don´t race it.....

NSX is goin to be fast yes, in tokyo and similar tracks.
I remeber that Falcon was really fast also in Nurb/F in
a prerace.

Lets continue discuss....Nothings decided yet, people
can make tests now in tokyo with the suggested PP raises
though. Specially for the Z, I think.

Falcon and Glitter, who is naturally very fast could see
what times U get with both 605 and 607 PP, post Your
times in spreadsheet. It would be innterresting also to see
different cars topspeed at breaking into first corner.👍

Imo, the PP is good for the Lexus. I think it would be a
little slower than GT-R with 613PP. But I have only tried
the Denso earlier, and it has Dunlop tires.:)

Don´t worry Rickie, I KNOW that Your speed comes from
min 500 laps testing at every circuit.:dopey:
 
ive said all along the lexus is to high.......would av bn happy to use it myself tbh......id like to test it but i av no money to buy one lol
 
Peltonen, You know Suzuka very well. Could You test
Denso vs. Petronas with 615 PP there? And compare
times to GT-R 613 PP. If You have the whole day off,
You could also test NSX(605) and Z (617).:crazy:

It would be interresting to see the difference between Dunlop
and Bridgestone in the 2 Lexuses.👍
