Mandatory Roll Call for Tokyo Thu 7.4 20 GMT.

Signup in the SPREADSHEET and put a RED X in the
left column. You don´t have to put Your laptimes, if
You want to hold Your cards. But I suggest that everyone
would practice to at least get under 104% of the fastest time.👍

Peltonen, You know Suzuka very well. Could You test
Denso vs. Petronas with 615 PP there? And compare
times to GT-R 613 PP. If You have the whole day off,
You could also test NSX(605) and Z (617).

It would be interresting to see the difference between Dunlop
and Bridgestone in the 2 Lexuses.👍

Don't have money for both Lexuses. :D

not tryin to stir the pot, but on TM saw Nissman half spin Nycrom while tryin to pass for position n didnt let him back past :/

on PP, mayb Adz had his trans set up bad? n lookin at the lexus pulls more speed than the gt-r at parts ive looked at n was .5 faster than anyone else.....obv could be driver, but not all of it.

best practice would be on practice mode n do laps in the gt-r then save the ghost replay......then u can race the ghost with the other cars n compare data logger

On the PP discussion, rather than relying on individual drivers testing which can never be objective, the best way is to find supporting facts in the races we already have done. And I cannot find anything there that supports that the "Z" would have too low PP.

Looking forward, and think the "Z" will be very strong and potentially the best car at Nurb GP/F and Indy road. Both those tracks have long twisty slow sections where its superior torque will be very useful. I think it was already perhaps the best car at Fuji adn will be even better at the other two.

Here is another idea.
At the half season (after five races), we adjust the cars PP as we think applicable and at the same time we allow people to change cars. This way, nobody can complain about his own car too low PP as he can only blame himself for picking it. The same goes for the first five races by the way.

Eppester, maybe give people who finish in the last third of the previous race more PP every race? So bottom 4 cars per race get 2 PP to take to the next race?

Lexus is very fast with that PP. Tbh, this season is more of a test run so there will be changes to PP etc, next season I'm sure everything will be 100% equal and ready on race 1!

Lexus is very fast with that PP.

Honestly I drive like 500 laps before I race a race in this series... So now because im getting to learn the car and the physics of the game im getting punished?
Next race im going to race the Sambabus with racing softs and a huge body kit! See if I manage to get it up to 615PP...

Maybe we should rename the championship to "Euro GT500 Nissan GT-R ONLY Championship"? This discussion is pointing in that direction imo...

Yeah, this is more like a test season for the
next. Im sure there is things to improve, but
We want also to keep everything as simple as possible.

But we could do as Johan suggested. After race #5
we could do a little changes, IF we feel like it would
be necessary. But we try to keep it simple.👍

I think that so far the biggest differences aren´t
really the cars, more like I see who has made his
practice on each track and who hasn´t.

I can honestly say that I have practiced at least
1.000 laps on these three first tracks. And I know
that I have improved my laptimes by 1,5 - 2 sec
on each track. On Laguna even more like 3 secs.

SO PRACTICE GUYS!!! I SEE ONLY MYSELF AND APOLLO AT TOKYO NOW......

I have used both and I personally found the Lexes to handles like a charm. I don't know if the PP is correct or not as I have not compared cars but it is a beast car.

Maybe we can add more weight to the GTR and Lexus so the handling is closer to the NSX? Just an idea :D

We are surely not gonna punishment someone
for practising.
The question is, are the PPs right for the cars.

Would You have driven as fast in a GT-R as You
do in the Lexus? Would I have been faster in the
Lexus than in the GT-R? Is Z too slow.? How
about NSX...?

These are the questions we discuss about. Its
only to find the right PPs for the cars overall.
That would give us a colourful grid next season,
when everyone can pick the car that they want.👍

Anyone looking to practice i will have a room open most of the day :)

Room Number is.. 1472 6118 3916 1735 7546

Or add jimmy281090

So lets postpone the PP discussion to a potential mid season adjustment. I also think Strechy's idea of giving the drivers at the bottom of the table a higher PP is a very good one, but lets also do this as a potential mid-season update.

Lets focus on Tokyo now.

I won't be doing any practise before the next race...

mämämämämämämämämä:)

You clearly don´t want to get the point here....
Its all about to get the cars as even
as possible for next season, nothing
to do with Your pace in the Petronas.💡
Maybe we end up having instead a Euro Petronas GT500 Championship
next season, if it would be clear that it is the fastest overall.

TRY TO BE OPENMINDED NO MATTER WHAT CAR YOU DRIVE NOW IN SEASON 1.

EQUAL CARS (adjusted with PP:s) = COLOURFUL GRID.

Poll open on Page #1. 👍

Its for to see what car people would choose with
these PP:s that We use now.

EDIT: New Race Steward added ---> Nycrom.:)👍

Dont forget the amazingly clean&fun drunkdriving mayhem

The trouble is that the NSX has only won 1 race and that was me at the nurburgring, with the tracks we have had it has struggled even with mine or glitters hands, hopefully it will be stronger going into the next few rounds.

i like that idea, and maybe for next season i think the top 3 should lose PP and it should be more of a penalty :D

I love my g4y Lexus now :)
Yeah and Peltonen should be @ 601PP now since he has won 3 races :)

The thing I feel is that i'm much more competetive with gtr or lexus as the pp is right now. Have you compared the cars??

I think you focus to much on the nsx to be equal with the others in tokyo..... The car is over a second slower on tm for example, i did 1:16:7 as best with nsx and that's After 120 laps. One single lap under 1:17. With the gtr i did 1:16:1 on the 4 lap with stock setup and later 1:15:5 and could keep up the pace for much longer.
Do you think it will be that much faster in tokyo?? You think it will be difficult to overtake it on the straights.... With the nsx on laguna and tm you don't even concerned about that because you know that you won't be close enough to do a move.
So maybe we can keep up in couple of tracks but won't stand a chance in others.

I'll try pp 607, think it will even up....thanx

So why did you pick the NSX in the first place ?
