Pfff....👎

.

John is always very fast at Suzuka and if you knew me better you would now that I'm always very fast at Trial Mountian. Thats a fact.
In my event the only track that I'm faster in 1 lap than my super fast teammate GTP_Rutter200 is Trial Mountian. John didnt lose 0.5 becouse of the car but becouse I just simply drive faster here.

dont av retard syndrome.........first point is a fact n u should av left him back past........
2ndly......u took 1 line out of a quote were i quite clearly wrote after that that obv it could down to the driver, but that we know the car has more power.....

read > think > quote > post

as previously stated.....i said i was happy to test it......i now have one btw so ill look at it later.
if i can see its fast anyway while racing it gives me a pretty big clue.......

read the thread over yea......obv the lexus boys getting all touchy about the prospect of these PP

This is getting heated :D

I wouldn't Disagree if the Nizmo Z or NSX got a 2pp boost in the next PP adjustment.

Edit; I think that those 2 cars are at more of a disadvatage than the Lexus has advantage.

Just had a little blast with the Lexus and tbh I think it should stay the same, the NSX and Z should get 2 or so more PP.

Edit: anyone have a room open?

done about 2 hours of testing cars on toyko with lennox and heres my findings.
(tests were done with no wear)

Lexus - turns out does have quite the hp advantage, but wierdly it doesnt translate into speed.
across the line the difference was within 1mph of the gtr
compared to the gt-r its slightly better on the brakes....but does carry a touch more understeer.
over the course of a lap these cancel each other out n the lap times r near identical so pp should stay at 615

Raybrig NSX.
my favourite car to drive by far, i love this car n gettin it right is a great feeling.
it hates the curbs on turn 3 lol
its 3mph better by the start line at 605pp.
although u can get to S3 in the same time as the others u lose time in S4.....pulled a 1.32.5 which still isnt fast enough on a track that should suit the car.....and u can easily out slip the speed advantage.
aero is weaker than the others, but the brakes are much the same (except the epson)
thus 607pp should be the minimum.

didnt test the Z......got no money.....if u send me one i can av a look

Come on, don't compare diffirent people! Of course peltonen will do a better time with nsx then me, maybe even if i drive a gtr.......!!!!!!
The question is..... Are you as fast with the nsx as gt-r??? Or if you compare other cars?? I'm not, and that's a fact. And also it's harder to drive and harder on tires. I don't know about lexus, haven't tried it out.
I just wanted to express my opinion and raise the question if the pp is fair.

Why not try and see if makes a diffirence?? If the change makes a huge advantage we can allways change back.

It's nothing personal to anybody.

Good to see that people are starting to do some testing.

As you test, its best to pick your favourite track, a track that you can drive very consistent. It should also be a track that has a good mix of everyting. Fast/slow corners, long/short straights, hairpins, chicanes. I usually use Suzuka as it has all of this, but there are other good tracks for testing too.

To do an apples-to-apples comparison I think its also good to test all the cars with default set-up. The only thing I usually change is the gearbox and putting the aero to max both front/back as its closer to what we race with than default set-up. Lap times will be slower than your race set-up, but its a better comparison between the different cars.

Post your lap times and any comments to it. We have plenty of time to get it right for the scheduled mid-season PP adjustments.

so i did a couple of test runs in both, the NSX and Lexus, and i definitly prefere the NSX. esecially the cockpit view is a million times better then in the Lexus

Chris

Guys we have 2 slots open for our champioship race tonight Suzuka fixed rain 22 laps.
If someone has time I'll be glad if you could fill up the free spaces.

Chris I think for now the PP will be staying the same. So for your testing probably best to keep it to 605 for the NSX. Decent lap you did 👍

Yes, We change PP´s, (if we change) after 5 Races, midseason.

Peltonen got a new teammate today. Welcome back Tony.👍

Maybe You Guys will reconsider changin Your Team to
Alien Racing ? Tony will drive with 609 PP from the
beginning...:dopey:

Lobby opens at 19.30 CET. Rules are simple, 532 hp limit no tunning restrictions.

I can be free tonight if you still need someone? I'm not signed up to this championship though, don't know if that matters - but if you need someone I'll give it a go.

so...ok 605PP for the NSX. Will go back to testing NSX vs Lexus. Say it prefere the NSX with 605, i can use it for the race??

We use these cars we have now until midseason...You
can change then if You want to, but not now.

But its is very good that people test these cars with
different PP.s

It would be nice to hear what Peltonen, Nissman and Tony
would think should be the right PP for these cars.👍

I haven't tested the Petronas so i wouldn't know what the deal is with that. I have tested the NSX though and i can say for sure that @ 605pp it has a disadvantage. The problem is though , that if you add more pp to it,and therefore more hp, it will be too fast on straights and still struggle in the infield. The only solution i see is to cut some wing from the other cars and allow only the NSX to have full DF. This way the handling performance will become more equaland the straight speed performance will remain the same. That means we will have to cut about 5-6 p.points from all other cars by lowering their DF. It sounds a bit complicated but with enough testing i think it'll solve the problem at leaast for the NSX.
