Yeah. Maybe We should see what PP the GT-R, Lexus and Z
would end up with 40/55 Downforce with same hp as NSX at 605 PP.👍

Someone in the game that has them all?

I haven't tested the Petronas so i wouldn't know what the deal is with that. I have tested the NSX though and i can say for sure that @ 605pp it has a disadvantage. The problem is though , that if you add more pp to it,and therefore more hp, it will be too fast on straights and still struggle in the infield. The only solution i see is to cut some wing from the other cars and allow only the NSX to have full DF. This way the handling performance will become more equaland the straight speed performance will remain the same. That means we will have to cut about 5-6 p.points from all other cars by lowering their DF. It sounds a bit complicated but with enough testing i think it'll solve the problem at leaast for the NSX.

What about just the laptime though Tony, each car can have its strengths and weaknesses but if they end up with similar laptime then maybe that will work? I see what you are suggesting I just think it might be a bit complicated.

I agree that the problem with NSX is its topspeed. But less
rear grip. If the other cars would have same hp as NSX but
with less rear grip also --> 40/55 for example, then anyone
can choose to drive with less grip or less hp by putting max
downforce.
Think it would be tested at least.

Maybe we should just look at the track list and have tracks that all cars are capable of going fast on.

Personally i think the GTR and lexus are gonna beat the Z on all those tracks at the PP Levels now.

There is only 3 tracks there where the NSX can't be competitive.
Deep Forest,Trial Mountain and Laguna, its fast everywhere else.

Good to see that people are starting to do some testing.

As you test, its best to pick your favourite track, a track that you can drive very consistent. It should also be a track that has a good mix of everyting. Fast/slow corners, long/short straights, hairpins, chicanes. I usually use Suzuka as it has all of this, but there are other good tracks for testing too.

To do an apples-to-apples comparison I think its also good to test all the cars with default set-up. The only thing I usually change is the gearbox and putting the aero to max both front/back as its closer to what we race with than default set-up. Lap times will be slower than your race set-up, but its a better comparison between the different cars.

Post your lap times and any comments to it. We have plenty of time to get it right for the scheduled mid-season PP adjustments.
In the championship me, diesel, GTA and Lennox were in the Lexus had a real bad problem of understeer. Lennox came like 4th in the first race as the car was poor but once he dialed it out by tuning it the car was the most lovley and easiest thing to drive and he was getting top 2 finishes every week. I don't think default setups are a fair view in my opinion :D

The thing is you can't really monitor how much wing people put. I sugested adding weight to the other cars to equal it a few days ago but I don't think no one read it xD.

Also, I thought you were from Brazil, didn't know you were greek :D. I am 3/4 Greek Cypriot!

I can be free tonight if you still need someone? I'm not signed up to this championship though, don't know if that matters - but if you need someone I'll give it a go.

Sure mate you can join. Race starts in 1 h.

And i thought i was the only one that was complaining about the terrible understeering of the lexus... especially at Laguna Seca 👎

Yea understeering is annoying.I too think that PP on Lexus should be reduced just a little because i've just managed 1'32.900 on only my fifth lap.
546bhp
33Front-57Rear
Didn't change anything else because I dont know a thing about tuning :(

Congrats Nino. I won at Laguna Seca, came third at TM and im currently second in the championship. And don't mange to go below 1'34.900...

I could sell a Lexus setup which is not understeering for, lets say 1000 euros, or maybe 1500,
because I want that Rennsport cockpit.:D

HINT: Don´t reduce front downforce if it feels understeering.

You have this on all the right open lounge settings? If so its a good lap. 546hp! - I need to take some more down force off I think!

Nice to have you back Rickie :dunce:

fastest so far in the Lexus is a 1'33.9 something. i dont feel the car understeering as much as used to as Laguna and TM.

a 1'32.9 is pretty quick :sly:

Lambolover
I know, I was just worried about you mate thats all :sly:

I was kinda tired of this discussion (still am actually). I have done like 15 laps in total @ Tokyo. Usually at this time I should be @ like a 150...
