Cheating new Nurburgring 24 Hour time trial

szarka_HUN did a 7:05 ... 40 seconds faster than anyone else. Watched the replay and he used some sort of glitch/exploit. So lame. I hope he gets banned for life from GT5, LOL.

Way to ruin that time trial dude, though I guess PD deserves some blame for not patching the track adequately.
 
The worst part about it is if they are not in the top 10, you can't check the replay to see if they cheated. Could be coincidence but my ranking has plummeted in the last few hours.
 
Hehe, I started at #42 yesterday morning, I'm now over 3,800. Bummer.
 
I've done an 8:14 and I think I can take maybe 10 seconds off that, not had many attempts. 7:45 is going to need some setup magic. Maybe softer rear.
 
I used a speed 8. If you use a new one, you can't do an oil change because it will put you over 800hp. you can only detune 50% so you have to make sure your car is only up to 394x2 or 788hp.
 
Thought that. 30 seconds faster as the #2 was too obvious. I've just watched the replay, looks like he used a glich & drives under the map.
Pretty psychedelic the replay of his run. I am wondering how many of the players in the scoreboard are cheaters. :crazy:

I've got a 8:04,457 & #211 after tuning, testing, trial & error. But the HDi FAP is still a bit touchy.

Anyone knows how to get one of the top 10 tunes? I've watched L-Shooter's replay & he drives like on racing softs. :scared: Or is it a hack?
 
Okay, some other guy (he has esl in his name i think) is doing the same glitch. 24 seconds behind first guy though. if the top 10 end up all abusing the glitch... i think pd might do another time trial reset... like they did before.

man that pissed a ton of people off.
 
Lol, I just watched that replay, it's actually funny on one of the replay views. The driver is constantly looking up in the air at the track. :D

Anyway, yes cheating sod, hang him. 👍

Most cheaters/glitchers tend to point the blame at the game manufacturers for allowing them to do things that most people find unethical. Coming from forza, there have been money glitches, stealing of other people's paints/tunes etc... And it's always someone else's fault. Seems as time goes on, morals and ethics erodes away and it's just every man/woman for themselves. Pretty sad really.

I spent maybe 10 hours on each of the expert seasonal events trying to pass them. I'm not the greatest driver for sure but see others pass it and figure it can be done so it's just a matter of practice. If there were some exploit to any of them I'm sure there would be a flood of people using it. Me personally, I'd rather just do the work and pass them the old fashioned way. Kind of sad that now the ring challenge, which took me more than a few tries with multiple cars to beat 9 minutes, has a pretty big exploit. PD will most likely wipe the leader boards which will screw all the legit people's times. I passed it with the Audi TT DTM. Awesome car for sure.

Ohh yea, i just realized that you can switch the camera with the select button.

In the driver spectator cam it looks like a drugged guy driving a power boat on the sea (szarka_HUN's review in the Audi TDi). :lol:👍
 
All below first and second where doing it without cheating. Well I'm guessing they did, just checkd third place and he did it on the track on cheating.

I must say I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO suprised that both of the guys who cheated, #1 and #2 is europeans. I know I'm not he only one thinking about it.
 
As somebody who has not been able to watch the replay yet, what exactly have they done to cheat the course?

Not that I have any intention of replicating it, i'm happy with my sub 9 minute, I'll take my million thank you very much
 
Quite a unique view of the track none the less. No idea how they get under there. I was glad to beat the gold by 7 secs. After 9 mins that was a little close for comfort as I had no idea what car to use.

Thanks for the info if there are cheaters I'll just take the money and come back to grinding the Ring in the UK lightweiths.
PS they can just put their cheats up on their a§§es.

All i care is to get gold in time/drift trials and get the prizes

So why make so much fuzz about it who did what?

Its the prizes you actually are driving for, right?

How do I watch the leader board replays?

I ran a 8:40 and think I could knock off 1 min if I ran this course enough. Never memorized this one.

No, the prizes are not relevant for me. I did it for the challenge getting it onto the top 256 list. It took me some time to post a clean lap while driving on the limit, but it's a lot of fun. :dopey:👍

Seeing that 2 cheaters leading the board is pathetic. And who knows if there are more cheater times on the leaderboard, not in the top 10 & with a not so obvious time. 👎:grumpy:
