GT5 broken after 1.10? Interesting find.

So, as many of you may know - out of the track related glitches are present on many tracks (Sarthe, Monza, Nurburgring, Fuji, Daytona & Suzuka are confirmed).
I did the Suzuka one for gold in S.Vettel and I managed to get out of the track on both Monza and Nurburgring quite easily - but my car kept getting reset back to the track.
So I thought this: if I downgrade my GT5 that I'll be able to gold the remaining two without the annoying car reset...so I downgraded my GT5 (deleted the game data and reinstalled without updating) and I was dissapointed...I couldn't leave the track on 1.05.
There is something in 1.10 which makes leaving the track extremly easy.
I'm posting this so that it gets noticed and fixed. PD messed something up big time on 1.10.

I've also been on 2 of them at Fuji Speedway, not sure if anyone else has, but its at a longer open turn with pavement towards the end, there is 2 stand/tower things and you can go through the openings, and hover high in the air. Daytona has one also.

I agree, something did go wrong. I'm really hoping they get this fixed in the next update.

It's never going to really get fixed in that the second they patch it up people will find some other way to glitch through the tracks. it's the Nature of gaming I guess. Maybe PD will take the same approach as MW3 and seek out glitchers to do testing on the tracks for holes.

You don't get it...this wasn't possible before, something went wrong with the newest update (1.10).
It's way-too easy to leave the track map now. Before 1.10 you needed 2 X2010s + luck to leave Nurburgring (I never did Nurb exp glitch, heard from stories that you needed an X2010 and another X2010 to hit you so you can get in the wall) and now you can enter the same wall in 30 seconds on the same map.
I realised that before - it was map issue [maps had "holes" in them and you could go through it (SSR7)], forced entry was possible, but as I said, you needed extreme ammount of power to leave the map.
Now however, there aren't any "holes" (as much as I know there aren't) - but forced entry is just too easy.
Now, the only thing I can think of is the fact that PD did something about the wall contact physics (possibly to prevent auto-grinding).
Typical PD's way of doing things - solving one problem leads to another.

There's bugs everywhere. We have found ATLEAST 8 DIFFERENT SPOTS to break in at SSR7, AND we're able to drop levels.

We're just unable to do it and get back onto the course line within 5 seconds. :ouch:

1.10 is a glitch machine. Had a momentary freeze while racing online; about 2 seconds. Never had that before!

Once we were doing a top gear race, and when the race started a few people spawned behind the cones at the first turn. I believe that's new.

Had that too, game froze and just as I was going to restart it - it unfroze.

After I was pissed because my X2010 crashed too often in a-Spec rubber banding Like the Wind, I've watched a replay to see what caused the crash.

You would be surprised: it was not the case that the car crashed after a contact with a other car. The car "glitched" a bit with the front into the wall,
after that the car couldn't go faster than 160 km/h (not even on the straights!) & a half round later the car collided with something in the wall and crashed. :eek:

Besides that my game freezes multiple times per day (while loading) & my ingame friends list is also very often bugged (completely empty).

Completely bugged the game. Hope they including with the next update at least a bug for the Nürgurgring GP/Vettel.

Usually a slow loading or empty friends list is a sign of bad connection.

Yes, that's the case of network problem, not GT5 problem.

I know what you mean, but it's a different thing in my case.

After hours of rubber banding I get after some hours a PSN disconnect. Now when I leave Like the Wind & go back to the GT home screen, I get thrown back to the GT main screen to relogin to PSN.

Now relogged in, back to GT home I get a complete empty "Profile" tab. It only get fixed by reloading the game.

Hard to describe, but it has in my case nothing to do with the "bad connection lag". I'll take a photo of it next time & post it. :dopey:

Other new bugs since the update ....

Myself and others within a room or lounge are unable to leave the room after a race or whenever we simply want to. Clicking on the "Leave Room" icon does nothing and the only way you can get out is by re-booting the game.

I was in a friend's room trying to join a race. I picked my car, checked set up and "Entered Course". Needed to check gearing so I clicked on "Drive out on track" and my screen went black, no sound and dead controller. Only way out is to re-boot game. Re-joined the room only by now the race had started so I clicked on "Watch Race" and again my screen went totally black with no response from the controller at all. Had to re-boot the game again.

I race every day/night and I never encountered these issues until after the update.

Strange! My GT5 still works.

..in all seriousness, online is as glitchy as ever now. Black screens are extremely common now.

All i can say is that 1.11 cant come outsoon enough!! Freezing is becoming such a regular thing, that in ready for it to happen every minute that i play the game, and thats not how you are supposed to enjoy a video game
