Hello everyone,

My name is Patrick and I tune lots of cars for practice of when I actually do become a race car driver so I will like to know how my tunes are for other people! So I will have LOTS of tunes here so don't be shy and grab a tune and review it for me. I do a lot of K and very lightweight cars because they are the cheapest and realistically that's what I can afford.

Most of my tunes will run Sports Hard but in those rare occasions the tune that is for more of a higher PP circuit or just mega grip it will have '(Circuit)' next to it. I tune my cars to three tracks, SS7 to wear in the engine, Nurb to fine tune the suspension, and Tsukuba to finalize the gear ratio and spring rate settings.

Works In Progress:
Nissan Skyline GTR R-34 500PP Tune
Toyota GT-86 500PP Tune
Mustang GT 550PP Tune

Nice job on the "sleepy" headlights. I suppose that took a bit of timing?

Also, that thing looks to be refreshingly light on parts... I may have to give it a go.

Edit: That said you look to be missing the gearbox and LSD settings... Coming soon I hope?

LSD yes I am still toying with IQ and Accel Sens and Gearbox is in the works as well. Will be editing when I have them all in the final stage of testing.

Good to hear.

Like I said, it's nice to see some fresh blood come in who's not just putting parts on cars and calling it a day or just going nuts with the parts catalog and installing everything short of the kitchen sink.

One more tune to put out today but going to wait for this thread to get some love .. :[

It's great to see some more 500pp tunes coming out. I'll be giving these a try once I get through the 6 or 7 cars I have lined up.

Are these tuned for tight twisty touge style tracks?

I'll let you know how I get on once j test these.

I've just been testing your NSX.
And if you check my review tread link in my sig you will see I've had a good go at testing these over the last few weeks.

When I saw the parts list I liked that it was light on parts, then I got to the transmission, LSD and suspension and was a little worried that you had changed very little. A couple of point up here a couple down there and nothing at all to the toe or camber.

I set the car up pick some wheels and covered them in sports hard tyres, then sprayed it silver the same as you had.
Got it out on my touge test track of choice deep forest
At first I was worried. The tail seemed to slide out all the time, make this a very hard car to drive. I was 2 to 3 seconds down on jacks NSX tune that is also 500pp.
Then all of a sudden something clicked. And it started to go right. I was getting consistent lap times for 5 laps just fractions of a second off my previous best NSX time of 1:26.098
Then instated to notice just how late this car can break ad if you feather the power back on to hold the back in line then the lap time dropped by a second and a half.
I was shocked. I was hopping I could get a 500pp car sub 1:26 but this just did a 1:25.504 no idea how that happened.

I left the race track to make sure the BHP was still 322 and PP was at 500 and it was all as I had left it.

In short I'm amazed at what you have done with this car.
Jacks NSX is more fun to drive, but this is a secret 500pp rocket.
Don't let the lack of parts and movement to the cars numbers fool you this is a great car.

Great work mate.
Going to try your R32 GTR next.
Cheers
Cactus.

Yeah because my driving style is a little mixed with some drifting for when I am too lazy to properly brake so I drift the corner to gain more speed. Been tweaking the NSX for less OS but the OG tune on my main NSX is good so I will have to separate tunes one for more of a drift style and one for more of a grippy person.

Well I was very impressed with how this one goes.

I would make one suggestion about your garage.
Could you put the BHP weight and PP levels in all your times like you did for the NSX. That would be great.

I also tested the R32 GTR last night will try to do a little write up about it today.

Having enjoyed K tunes NSX I moved on to the R32 GTR. The R34 is my all time favourite car. I will get one some day. and was very impressed with with T-specs tune for the R34. So I had hight hopes for the R32 as it is known as being revolutionary when it was launched.
Pulled out on to the Deep forest track and did a lap to warm myself and the car up.
I started racing against the R34 Ghost as I felt this would run a similar time.
on the 3rd lap I was beating the R34 ghost by the end of the second split.
This car does feel more lively than the bigger R34. It handles well with very little of the understeer I was expecting. In fact I found if you tap the hand break you can do a 4 wheel drift quite nicely

I did this for a couple of laps but it wasn't making for fast lap times.
fffdonoacciqlshfdz0.jpg

So I decided to go back to trying to beat the R34's lap time of 1:27.247
a couple more laps and I was sub 1:27 I had beaten the R34 with a lap time of 1:26.980
That is only 1/4 of a second but I was impressed.
I did subsequently get back in the R34 and put a new best lap time of 1:26.247. I guess my driving has improved since I set the first lap time.

Still impressed with the R32 for an older car. it's up there with the newer cars.

Another good Tune from K tuning.

Mine's R34 for Circuit and a Civic Type-R '08 for Touge and Circuit in less than an hour just doing some final test.. You guys are going to love them!
