And we're back! And better than ever!
Season 3 of the American Le Mans Series looks as if it's going to be the most competitive yet!
Post 1: Introduction/Basic Rules
Post 2: Roster/Car Lists
Post 3: Schedule/Standings
We do our best to replicate the real American Le Mans series. Which is why we have not one, or two, but three classes racing at the same time!
LMP1, the fastest and most elite of the three classes is home to some of the finest machines on the planet. Cars like the diesel Peugeot 908 and Audi R10 battle it out with the petrol BMW V12 LMR and Bentley Speed 8 along with a vast array of other cars. For this season, all Group C cars have been banned to narrow down the field and promote "teaming up" with other drivers.
LMP2, this class is for those that enjoy driving full-fledged race cars, but can't afford the high-running costs of LMP1. Open to any Pescarolo, this class has been proven through testing to be dead even, with cars that are easier to drive than the GTs.
GT, we are proud to announce that GT will be nearly identical to the GT class in real life. ALL cars competing this season in real life are represented in our recreation of the series. Luxury cars like the Jaguar XKR to full-fledged super cars like the Ferrari 458 Italia battle it out in one of, if not the, most competitive classes in the series.
