Without the loop and the jump it would have been a great track, but with those two features it's basically useless. Most of the alternate versions are disappointing too. They seem to have an obsession with those loops, Kart Space has one too, and loops aren't really good for racing.

I say no :D
I really haven't been able to find consistency in this track, so I would gladly change it for any classic GT track, such as El Capitan, Apricot Hill or Midfield Raceway :)

I love the loop. It really makes you pay close attention to grip tuning. Eff up your LSD settings or camber and you'll hate the track.

I also love the various layouts. Each has different challenges...but the south loop is my favorite.

As for the jump, it's dumb and stinks of NFS...but I'll take that over another track like route X.

Personally, I like the idea of PD adding the odd "new" fantasy track, but feel they should focus more on real tracks as this is a real driving simulator. Or at least make continue making city circuits off their layouts ^^

I'm surprised Cape Ring is as hated as it really is. Granted, the full version is all too long, but I think it looks great and has a few unique features. I drove the Periphery version early on in my GT5 career and thought it was brilliant.

Yeah I like that track a lot. I wouldn't mind having it in GT6. I'd like High Speed Ring to move on too.

Cape ring too long? No one complains about the 'ring being too long.

The ring is a little more appeasing to the eye to look at IMO. Plus each and every square meter are to scale on bumps and nudges on the track. Cape ring is flat, and ugly.

If GT6 is made for PS3 and the track can be included with no effort I say keep it on. I enjoy the circuit but have no real attachment to it yet. If it was dropped after GT5 it wouldn't be missed like Seattle or Midfield or Appricot are now. The circuit may grow on people if it's included in a second game though. I've had a lot of fun there but it's a track I can do without.

Why not have Cape Ring (without the jump) and other classic tracks or even new ones? I say the more the merrier!

Yes advance it. It already exists so it'd be a waste not to advance it just because some people don't like it. If you don't like it, then don't use it. Simple.

Cape Ring has really grown on me, I didn't like it much at first, but now I do.

Same, would be happier if the loop had more of a variation in radius, or was halved, and i don't like the jump

Other than that, I do quite like it, especially as it has quite a few variations

For the love of digestive biscuits, can we please ban this phrase here?

For crying out loud, it's a track. A track that is disproportionately featured in GT Life and Seasonals. You can't not use it if you want to play the game.

Midfield, Apricot hill, SSR11 and Seattle are all far superior tracks but there is no reason to remove a half decent circuit when we could have the others as well.
Interesting the opinion is so divided 👍

After getting the hang of some of the more difficult sections, I find it a fun course to drive on. The jump is not fun though. Hit it at full throttle in my ZR1 RM and there is too big of a chance that the car will go out of control upon landing. That kills it for me.
