TOCA is back. 3 Seasons have produced arguably the finest and closest racing on GTPlanet. It will be intense, with 8 race nights and 24 races, as well as a return to the old cars of TOCA in the TOCA LEGENDS championship. It will be intense, TOCA is finally back in 2012 and ready... Question is... are you?

A – All cars shall conform to the exact tune shown on the below post. IF A PART IS NOT ON THIS LIST, IT IS NOT ALLOWED. Failure to conform to the stated specifications will result in Points Deductions and possible Disqualifications.

B – Events are held in my Lounge - make sure "Furinkazen" is on your friends list.

C – Events are run of a Saturday.

D – The Lounge opens at 7pm British Time. The TOCA LEGENDS Race will begin at approximately 7.15-7.25pm British time and last until around 7.25-7.35pm BST. A couple minutes after the TOCA LEGENDS racee has ended, Qualification will begin for the main TOCA race 1.

F – Qualification is 10 minutes, set on timer is set for qualification. This starts after the timer has been set for 10 minutes. No cars may hit track until the timer is up. As soon as the timer runs out the race shall begin.

G – Race’s will be run from a standing start.

H – Race 2 and Race 3 is a reverse-grid event.

I – Between races there is a 10 minute-interval, set via the automatic countdown.

J – Set-up changes between races are allowed.

K – Penalties are off.

L - Fuel Use and Tyre Wear is off.

M – Damage is limited

N – This is touring car’s so bumping, rubbing and small taps are par for the course. But excessive and deliberate moves across half the track to take someone out are disallowed. Remember – be hard but fair. Stewards will review incidents post race ad take appropriate action.

O – Drivers are not allowed to repeatedly block one another.

P – Any incidents will be reviewed by me and others, as I will have all replays saved. Warnings and Points Deductions will be handed out if necessary.

Q – Kerb cutting is allowed if you have 2 wheels on track. However I appreciate at a track like the Nurburgring’s final chicane with its movable barriers, or Monza, this may be more difficult to implement.

R – Quitting a race in anger or because you are running near the back of the pack will result in you starting on pole automatically for the next race. This is prohibited as it is a cheap way of gaining pole and in theory an easy to win. If this happens, in the race you MUST pull over at a designated pull-off zone on track as instructed and let the whole field through. Failure to do so will result in penalties. This may also be applied if you missed the previous race or got D/C’d.

S – We will use the BTCC Points System: 1st – 20 points; 2nd – 17; 3rd – 15; 4th – 13; 5th – 11; 6th – 10; 7th – 9; 8th – 8; 9th – 7; 10th – 6; 11th – 5; 12th – 4; 13th – 3; 14th – 2; 15th – 1. Pts will count for all 24 TOCA SERIES races and the 7 TOCA LEGENDS races.

T – Foul language in the lobby and / or other negative conduct will result in points deductions and bans.

U – You are NOT allowed to swap cars during the course of the season. Prior to the Season Start please make sure you have decided your car / team, and passed the information on to me.

V - Contact will happen in touring cars, but rear-ending someone hard so they run off into a corner is frowned upon. As is deliberating turning into someone in order to run them off the racing line. if someone has the racing line, they reserve the right to hold that line, only surrendering it if they move off it.

W - Mid race chat is largely prohibited. Writing down "sorry" is considered fine, but ranting and writing "why did you not wait for me to enter?" or "****ing stupid backmarker!!!" is prohibited. This will be considered with RULE R.

X – To win TOCA requires total commitment for 24 races, but if you are just a privateer driver or a fancy a one-off at a track you specialise in, you can enter. TOCA is friendly, so even if 6 races have gone and only a couple meetings remain, join! Usually there is 1 or 2 spare slots each week.

Entries shall be officially registered and taken once Thread is fully up and running.

Ah good, is tomorrow just like a open day then? Because I would like a bit more time to test all the cars - but I really liked the Ford, very good out of the box and pulls very well and handles amazingly well :)

Tomorrow is merely when this Thread is completed and the OP has all information in it.

In a quagmire as regards to team mate selection.

Also TinyChat Stewards Panel is ready.

It's Furi. What do you expect from me . Though I'm proud of the artwork this time...

If the volvo is free I would take that :)

Also is this on the same time as the sports car jobby we have going now? :)

And where are the 🤬 cars... :grumpy:

What's the point in creating the thread if your not going to show us what we can pick..
And anyway, I think I have the Sirocco and if so I'll probably team up with Akmuq..

chrisjohnson93
they probably are coming tomorrow

Still, could have just posted them today.. :grumpy:

I can confirm that I will not be driving for FTR for this season. I will be piloting the G35 for BMR (Brooks Motor Racing).

Currently looking for a team-mate, there will be no team orders (or anything that Furi does :sly:).

I can confirm I will be with FTR, and I'm quite sure Furi didn't want me to spoil his surprise.:sly:

I hate non-ABS racing with a passion because I'm using the square button to brake (feels impossible to permanently switch to the right stick) so I may give this a skip entirely.

I couldn't brake with the stick either, always was a button masher. :)
