A series that makes use of PD's tribute to one of the most glorious cars to emerge from the late 80s/early 90s era. A true Japanese stalwart, this is more a GT car than a TC, with a wealth of Horsepower to choose from and good handling to boot, it will take skill, lots of practice, and copious amounts of bravery to achieve victory with this car. Can you tame this silver-badged beast?

The car must be kept stock. The only upgrades you are permitted to buy are the Chassis Reinforcement, Torque Distributing Centre Differential, and any of the maintenance features in GT Auto (Oil Change, Engine Rebuild etc). Anyone running with upgrades that are not permitted will be caught out and penalised accordingly. However you can tune the car as much as you want in terms of setup (Aero, Suspension etc).

Penalties
All penalties listed are only a guide for PURE stewards to utilize in reprimanding championship drivers. The penalty grades are only suggested as a base line, the extent of the penalties in result is at the full discretion of series stewards. The penalties are scaleable according to race distance and any or all penalties are stackable for a total penalty value.
The focus of this penalty set is to encourage good sportsmanship behavior on track. It gives the opportunity to the drivers that commit the offences to "right their wrongs" during a race in order to reach compromise instantly and avoid the necessity of review and deliberation. Simply waiting for the driver you faulted to reclaim their position relative to you before an incident shall suffice in correcting the mistake, most of the time.
Incident Penalty Outline (IPO)
- Using an illegal car specification - Disqualification
- Going into the Garage or Settings pages during or after PP Checks - Disqualification
- Over-stepping more than two tires past pre-defined track boundaries without letting off the throttle on re-joining track more than three times during a race - 15 seconds
- Disregarding pre-defined 'hard' boundaries such as pit lane entry and exit markings - 5 seconds
- False race start/Jump start - 10 seconds
- Avoidable contact resulting in lost time and not yielding position back to victim * - 25 seconds
- Avoidable contact resulting in damage - 20 seconds
- Illegal blocking/blue flag rule/forcing drivers off track** - 15 seconds
- Not yielding position(s) gained through course cutting - 25 seconds
- Rejoining track from out of bounds resulting in blocking race traffic - 10 seconds
- Sustained aggressive driving during race *** - First detailed warning
- Committing any offense while under probation Championship disqualification
**Blue flag rules state that lapped drivers, in the same class, must do their best to allow the leaders an unobstructed racing line. If the lapping car approaches the back-marker during mid-corner or if in a group of multiple back-markers then they must be treated the same as in a mixed class race with said driver(s) being the lower class - this means the lapping driver must follow basic multi-class racing etiquette, allow the drivers to hold regular lines and overtake at the safest following opportunity.
*** Being warned the second time will incur a championship points penalty of a value equal to 7th place position in the championship. A third warning will put the driver in probation therein by committing any subsequent offence will cause them disqualification from the championship.
The R32 Challenge follows the GTP OLR, all participants are expected to read and fully understand this set of rules. However the series also has it's own little set of rules that must be adhered to before the OLR. Make sure you read and fully understand every one of them.
- Drivers are expected to race as clean and fair as possible. If you cause an incident then you are expected to wait for the victim, as this is considered gentlemanly and could influence the result of an investigation.
- Disrespectful behaviour is strongly discouraged on and off the track.
- The white lines along the edge of the track are considered to be the track boundaries. These lines continue onto the rumble strips at each corner. At no point should there be no more than two wheels over those lines/rumble strips. Problem areas will be addressed with pictures for each race. A few ventures over the line caused by mistakes or unintentional are permitted, as long as it is not a constant offence.
- Cutting any corner is strongly prohibited.
- Making contact with any sort of wall/barrier is also strictly prohibited in race, whether you gained time or not. Qualifying rules are slightly different for this, please refer to them for your Qualifying.
- You must always respect the position of other drivers on the track, and never attempt to force them off-track or squeeze them illegally. Dive-bombing is also not allowed.
- Always be responsible when driving and be careful around other drivers at all times. Be patient and do not drive erratically.
- Ragequitting is strongly discouraged and frowned upon, but if you have to do not park up on the track, quit out of the race into the lobby.
- A Formation Lap must be completed before the start of every race. Drivers will line up in their Qualifying order before the race is started. On the first lap, if the competitors are not already in Qualifying order on the grid, they will sort themselves into the correct order. Then the pole car must accelerate to 56mph/90kph, the drivers must place themselves in a staggered formation, and stay at this speed until the start of the race. Once the pole car is close to the Start/Finish line and all cars are clear of the last corner, they may start the race.
- Weaving on the Formation Lap is not allowed. Jump starts are also prohibited, if you do not give a place back which you gained from a jump start, you will be penalised.
- Pit Entry/Exit lines must be respected. Crossing them is permitted providing there are no cars nearby. Causing an incident as a result of this will yield a harsh penalty.
- If a backmarker is about to be lapped by another car, this backmarker must yield to the other driver and by no means obstruct him. However the lapping driver must also show care and consideration when lapping the backmarker, and not aggressively overtake.
- If any of these rules are broken, an inquiry will be made and the Race Stewards will decide on an appropriate penalty.
- If you are victim of an incident or witness another driver commit an illegal action, please report it by PM-ing me or another Steward. DO NOT discuss it in the thread.
