Similar to the Cars In General thread, this is a thread where you pick from two things equal of value. However, this thread will be all about owning tracks, driving for teams, winning an event, etc. etc. The one I am doing will be a track one. The choices will be bolded.

Building a FIA Grade 1 certified track of your design in your hometown and putting it on as many championships as you want.

or

Owning any track and getting it FIA Grade 1 certified no matter how it is and getting it in as many championships as you want.

I would choose building the circuit in my hometown option

I'd rather build it myself. I know exactly what I'd build, too, though it would be a permanent circuit rather than a city one (the shape is the important part).

Would you rather:

Being the second driver at Red Bull?

OR

Being the lead driver at Force India?

This could be fun, I'll play.

I'd builld the track in my hometown, theres actually been talk of an official Nascar oval, but screw that.. FIA baby.

and second driver at Red Bull, I'd be perfectly okay with being the next Mark Webber.

Winning the Indy 500?

or

Winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in any class?

Red Bull, because I hate the color Orange
Indianapolis 500, just because I'm "Murican! That and I've only watched part of one Le Mans in my lifetime

Well even though someone answered the last question, I will too but add 2 questions.

I would prefer to win the Indy 500, just because it's one of those awesome things not many people ever get to.

Would you rather win the Rolex 24 at Daytona?

Or Win the Baja 1000?

Rolex 24

Would you rather

beat Michael Schumacher in a last lap duel

or

beat Ayrton Senna in a last lap duel

I would...
Build my own track.
Drive for Red Bull.
Win Le Man.
Win Rolex.
Beat Senna.

I feel that we'll run out of questions quickly.

Drive for Force India
Win the Indy 500
Win the Rolex 24

Would you rather,

Dive up the inside of the last corner taking the championship (national championship like btcc) however be seen as a dirty driver.

Leave the position and come second however keep your respect with other drivers.

Build own circuit
Lead driver at Force India
24 Hours Le Mans
Rolex 24
Senna
Porsche

Would you rather

Drive for the team you support now?

or

Set up your own team, presuming it reaches the same level?

Le Mans 24h

Would you rather drive for top WEC LMP1 team or podium-guarantee-Formula 1 team?

F1 team.

Would you rather:

Do well through a Grand Prix on your way to a podium but then lose ten spots because you drive for McLaren and they bungled your pit stop.

or...

Qualify poorly but work your way up to 12th place by race end.

Both scenario's driving for McLaren then? If second was for a team such as Caterham then latter...

Nah. Just the first was McLaren-specific.

Evidently I killed the thread.
:-/

Enter the WRC as Loeb's team mate?
Enter the IRC with a new car?
Or American X Games Rallycross?

- Build track
- #1 @ Force India
- Indy 500
- Rolex 24
- Ayrton Senna
- Come second
- Ferrari
- Own team
- Le Mans
- Top WEC
- McLaren
- IRC

You are an experienced F1 driver, mid thirties, driving for a midfield team after a couple of years at a top team, and you KNOW you've past the peak of your F1 career, unless "a Brawn happens". Then, you get two offers:

a) two-year contract extension with your current F1 team. Lower salary, but you didn't reach pay-driver status yet. You know it'll probably be your last F1 contract.

b) five-year contract with Audi Sport with an iron stipulation about you being in their Le Mans lineup all those years.

What will you choose?

  • Own any track
  • Force India, because they're super popular in India (or so I hear), and having 1 billion people supporting you can't be a bad thing!
  • Le Mans
  • Daytona
  • Schumacher, because Senna only revenge cheated, whereas Schumacher just cheated.
  • Win Le Mans in a Porsche
    956_Porsche.jpg

  • Set up my own team, as it would be called 'Straight-Gay Alliance Racing' and I would be banned from the team garages, along with my best friend, for being asexual, as would my second best friend who is bi, because only straights and gays are allowed in the 'Straight - Gay Alliance'. (Sorry, I'm a pedant who always gets annoyed by 'Straight - Gay Alliance' signs because they seem to be advertising an alliance that me and two of my best friends aren't allowed to join because of our sexualities. I've had a long day, forgive me if I'm not making any sense.)
  • Le Mans
  • Toyota WEC
  • Poor qualli, strong race
  • I want to race for Porsche in the IRC!

AND NOW!

which of these ultra challenging tasks would you rather attempt, knowing you are not allowed to stop until you either succeed or drop dead:

The quintuple whammy of winning Le Mans (outright), the Indy 500, the Dakar rally (in all categories mind), the World Rally Championship, and the Formula 1 world drivers championship.

OR

Complete F-Zero GX

cool story bro ... now could you please remain within the game's purpose and therefore give out TWO options, both related to MOTORSPORTS ?

It is related to motorsports. It's a game that simulates what motorsports might be like in the future!

What will you choose?

B. Easily. And that goes for not just Audi, but any top-level Sports car team.

OK... I would (In order):

1) Build a track in my hometown.

2) Be lead driver at Force India (As I know for a fact that I wouldn't be comfortable in a #2 role).

3) Win the Indy 500.

4) Win the Role 24 at Daytona.

5) Beat Senna in a last-lap duel.

6) Drive up the inside corner.

7) Win Lemans in a Ferrari.

8) Set up my own team ("Bellomo Motorsports SPA").

9) Win the Lemans 24 Hours.

10) Drive for a podium-guaruntee-Formula 1 Team.

11) Race well, but finish poorly due to a bungled pitstop.

12) Enter the IRC with a new car.

13) Take the five-year deal with Audi.

14) Win "The Quintuple Whammy" (As I've already completed F-Zero GX...).

Now for my question... Would you rather:

A) Win a race and dedicate it to your Best Friend/Spouse/Parents Etc.

OR

B) Win a race and dedicate it to your Team Owner/Crew Chief/Sponsors Etc.

B. Pump up the crew, get them to be psyched about building me a faster car, and then dedicate the next one to my parents.
