They could do a hybrid mountain pass that has a separate two lane road going up and down, with two SSR7-like turn around points at the bottom and top where the roads re-connect.
Mainly taking inspiration from I-17 here in Arizona, which has some impressive elevation change for a freeway and splits the traffic into two separate roads. A GT mountain pass could essentially take that idea and apply it to a Japanese mountain for "circuit" racing.
Google earth doesn't really do it justice in 3D mode.

There's no need to create fantasy mountain passes when there are ....well, thousands around the world. Also it defeats the whole concept.
As I said, I think they won't be in GT6, but I'd love seeing the Gunma Sports Center (and everything that's featured in best motoring really) and haruna/akina.
