'09 Hyundai Accent in Salsa Red; "the Track Beast"

Bug deflector; this IS Canada, after all.

Kumho all season tires; great for day-to-day, with low road noise etc., but horrible on track.

It is a Manual. Save the manual transmissions!

And a nice & big subwoofer for some chillstep.

It's a nice system, really.

Mel hold the damned camera more steady for the first 7 shots .

But nice none the less. Almost looks like a bigger beefier version of my little Fiesta .

The lens is broken. That's the camera I got for my birthday; the one that my mom found, broken, in the middle of a park. The other photos were taken on my mom's camera, which is a mint condition Canon Powershot S515.


Sorry, though. I think the point gets across. Whenever I take photos of the Timing and Scoring for qualifying in the ITCC, that's the camera I use. It's enough to get the jist of the photo, but, it's not as high quality, because the lens is smudged or cracked.


Though they're both Canon Powershots, one isn't damaged; it makes a huge difference.


Also, you say that it looks bigger and beefier than the Fiesta, but, it's actually smaller, more agile, and less powerful; my aunt owns a Fiesta. I should tease her about owning "the Cadillac of small cars."

Haven't got any good pics of my car . It's nothing special just a bog standard 1.25l Fiesta but has run 1 and a half years without a hitch 👍. My next car will be something to be really proud of .

The Accent's the same, really; bone stock. The only time it ever has troubles, is on the track.


-30 (+) degree Celsius days, with continual, non-stop autocrossing runs puts it into "limbo," to the point that the motor just died until it cooled down.

-Yesterday, the battery went dead right before what should've been my first run, and it wouldn't start. So, the guy who beat me (in my class,) later, gave me a boost.


Asides from that, I've never had a problem.

-No aids (traction: no, ABS: no, etc.) means that it's a great learner's car, AND nothing really can go wrong.


List of upgrades/changes:

-bug deflector
-sound system (subwoofer, amp, etc.)
-(two) rear spoilers (one stock, one SR kit)
-window tint
-strut tower brace/reinforcement bar
-"eyelid" headlight covers
