Hello guys,

I just buy a TH8RS and i thought it was compatible with forza and GT5 but no...:guilty:
I look differents forums and saw the interfaceone for TH8RS but he doesn't made for the moment.
So if someone sell a interface, i'm very very interesting.

THANKS

It went a little quiet around interfaceone. bought one in the last badge.
Supposed he will start production again, but no exact news.

Why it's not compatible... what is the output signal of the TH8RS (what sort of signal) and what sort of signal need the CSR ps/2 input

Without letting the entire cat out of the bag... Just hold your horses for about a week, something will come along. ;)

yes i know but why if i take a adaptator usb/ps2 and i put in my CSR it doesnt work.
what sort of signal is?

All of the Fanatec wheels use voltage levels on their shifter input. These are based on the position of the Fanatec shifter.

The TH8RS shifter only communicates via a USB protocol and needs to be plugged into something that can speak USB. The Fanatec wheel doesn't understand that so you need an adapter between the two that converts the inputs from the TH8RS into something the Fanatec wheel can understand.

Sorry to seem so vague... It's just that it's not a simple matter of connecting the right wires the right way. :)

I was looking for one as well. I'm holding out on redoing my setup till I can get a hold of one. I read he is doing a project right now that needs his attention. However from the time frame he gave would be somewhere about the end of the month or early next month when he starts making them again. I hope its true. :)

Sorry Caz but my english is too bad to understand exactly some expression:guilty:, thank you for all yours reponses:):)
i hope is true too, for the end of the month:tup:

No worries mate. Wasnt trying to be a jerk to you.

Crow,

I'm sorry about that too, I should have been more sensitive to the language barrier. :)

This should clear things up.

I plan to release my own adapter next week.

I'm testing it in the photo below. The part labeled "prototyping" in the photo has much more on it than the adapter as this isn't the only thing I am working on. Here you go: ;)

Great news, this is just what I've been looking for. Can't wait to get my order in. Anybody else? Line forming on the right.

P.S.
Bought a basherboard and if this new product is as good, we are all going to be very happy indeed!

I'm not sure which board you purchased, but thank you for the kind words!

This is a good one and I'm sure people will enjoy it. I know I do. hehe I'll be posting about it soon enough to show it off a bit.

Here's a couple tidbits of info before then:

- comes in an enclosure
- automatically recognizes when the TH8RS is in sequential mode and acts appropriately
- 7th gear works on cars with a 7th gear
- firmware upgradable to add other shifter types

How's that sound so far?

Well it sounds fantastic! Whats the best way to keep up on projects status ? I definitely want to get on board at first opportunity.

you're amazing, :):)
you're the Messi I expected, tell us about the avencemnt your project, I'll be your first customer:tup:👍👍

It's fully designed, programmed and ready to go with one exception. The last thing I am waiting for are the PCB's (circuit boards) They are on order and should be here, I'm hoping, sometime next week. I will probably post a thread here showing it, but I won't list a price here, etc. Or you can keep an eye on my website. (it's in my signature)

I'm excited about it... I wish I'd made one sooner.

My G25/G27 shifter to Fanatec adapter is just on the horizon as well... ;)

@ mrbasher, I hope you do come out with a board soon. I've kept my TH8RS hoping to use it with the CSW and Elite I've got coming next week.

Sorry again but i don't understand what is your website???:guilty:
I do not want to be nosy but how many you pays tooling costs for the prototype of pcb

It would also be of interest to those who use RFactor,or GTR2. Those games only allow 3 control devices. If someone wanted to use a button box, keyboard and thrs8 shifter in addition to there wheel, they would be unable to.

Crow,

No problem, my website is http://www.basherboards.com/

Are you asking how many I am getting on the first run of boards? Or are you asking how much it costs to have the boards made?

Very true... this is the reason I am looking into making an adapter for the G25 and G27 wheels as well ;) (for USB shifters) Those will be a little different though and it's the reason why I didn't add that functionality on this adapter.
