2nd training race:
Nürburgring Nordschleife

The race will be on Sunday March 31 at 21.00 (GMT+0)
There will be a practice lobby opened at 19:30 (GMT +0)

We will do a 1 Lap race at practice lobby to warm up.

Actual race: 10 Laps

One vital thing: don`t quit.Leaving upsets the lobby.
And the rest of the racers.:grumpy:
Stay in the pits until the race is over.

THE LINK BELOW IS THE COUNTDOWN TO THE TRAINING RACE

-event date reached-

Race Information:

Weather report for Race Day Ahrweiler/Eifel region:
Unstable weather.Even if sunny, Qualifying will VERY likely to start with wet track.
Track dries quicly.

Also our tyre supplier has some recommendations:
dry track : racing soft ( should last 2-3 laps)
0 > 40% wet track : racing soft
40 > 80% wet track: intermediates
80 > 100% wet track . rain tyres.

Test crew phoned in and had some setup tweaks done:
Dampers 1 all settings
Remove the rollbars (1 front and rear)
camber: 0.5 front 1.0 rear

Also the testdriver, that ALWAYS used bumper view before HIGHLY recommends T cam view!

All we can say now, is not to overdo it on the Autobahn on your way here.Sadly there are more and more speed limits around.

am ready for a race at Nurdburgring today, will be interesting.

My friend Polarfox also joins

Cool guys!

The weather settings are tested by MonSpaNur over and over.

You will see, that they are unpredictable, even by the one who sets them!!!!

So pepare like for a real race.ANY weather can happen!

Head a call from Team Ferrari. 👍

And team Lotus just called in as well. 👍

Thanks for the invite weekends just dont work for me atleast thats what the wife tells me.:scared: Goodluck though guys.👍

So many tracks we could do are missing. Tokyo reverse. Grand valley reverse. La Sarthe.

And why on earth are we having fictional tracks in the season?

(gossip and general talking are absolutely forbidden)? Ok ok this is going to far. I suggested we have the mics on because not only is this season a driving test, having the mics on makes it into a social occasion. Are you saying we're not allowed to banter and have a laugh?

They are official practice sessions, not social occasions, and will be run just before the race, so they are a last chance for that small change in the car set up, naturally a banter and a laugh might not be allowed.

And more, not everybody have time to practice and set the car during the week and certainly they are intending to use that sessions for that effect.

Having somebody laughing and chatting in a lobby, is very disturbing to some drivers and allow that type of situations in a official practice session is unfair to that drivers.

That`s the reason the talking is limited to meaningful information (exchange of set up`s, clarification of regulations, etc...) in that sessions.

Along the week, practice lobby`s will be opened and in that non official practice sessions a banter and a laugh will be wished, recommended and very welcomed.

Thanks to CasNuerburg & MonSpaNur for the nice lobby today 👍

Must say this car is not for the weak at heart and nor is Green Hell. Big props to the top two DrAug & Dahlzi? Seems like you both tamed the car and track and not to forgot CasNuerburg.

* EDIT: 1hour & 15minutes. Did not think 10 laps would kill my knee so easily :dunce:. Thanks again.

Hi Gazzi!

I see your point there.

But we will stick to this.

There is a reason for that: we don`t want record chasing.
I already mentioned that before:The winner here is just the winner of THIS championship. And the new tracks are new to erveryone.

There is always the possibility to be a guest driver.
We are not crowded.
Just do the ones you like.

Thanks to CasNuerburg & MonSpaNur for the nice lobby today 👍

Welcome mate.

The championship race will have 15 laps, today`s race had 52 minutes only.

My problem as the wrists, maybe because, until the start of qualify, I did not drove the F10 since the beginning of January, but WRC`s in short runs, instead.

Lol at 'a banter'

Guys don't be killjoys. I play the game most days of the week but I wouldn't call it practicing. Id call it taking the F10 out for a spin Vs (mostly) randoms. Plus I feel like ive never gotten the chance to get to know you lot. Will it be the same situation for any practice race practice lobbies?

That was a really good test Race Guys!No one Quit! 👍👍👍

Given, that is is Easter Sunday AND it was such short notice....brilliant!
Not to mention the difficult track......

@Weather:
It was a dry Eifel day.Rare...:sly:

@ Race incident ( i.e. me crashing dahlzi off):
I feel soo bad about that! I know not to overtake in Klostertal, but otherwise i knew, he would reel off after Mutkurve......:scared:

In a championship race that would have been a big penalty for me.

BTW: If something like that happenes during the championship, don`t wait and think you will not be punished.
You killed someones race AND THERE WILL BE a reaction from the stewards.

@T-cam view:
It really is the better option. But I had to grow up to it.Two weeks ago I had a completely different opinion! But with this view you can see dirty tires. No big "surprise crashes" anymore. I could "feel" the car better with worn tires.Just had two big crashes. One, (the obove mentioned) was even self provoked :sly:, and the other one was, when i tried to stay ahead of augh and tried too hard.Brilliant.
Edit:the crash was of course not brilliant..... :sly:

@ Lobby type:
I hated people coming in and out.Seems that our *P*R*I*V*A*T* header attracts peolpe like shixx does flies...We will go back to private lobby.

@ Mics:
Only Mon and I had mics on during Practice. But I have been in Leyba`s rooms, and EVERYBODY has....
No real Problem for me though, because I can shut the mic off ,or just listen. You can choose between game sound or chat or both. (Triton AX Pro)
And there will be training rooms.Just show up when I´m online. Will post it here.

Note:There are NO April fools messages hidden in here!!!!!:)

Lol at 'a banter'

Until the day you prove to me that you can write Portuguese without a single mistake, I personally will assume this quote as a racist act against me.

And more, even in Portuguese I struggle to write without mistakes because I´m dyslexic and that is another reason I can not accept somebody`s jokes about my writing.

"Dyslexia - a general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, but that do not affect general intelligence."

Woah there. I apologise to you.

See? If I was there and on the mic I could have know this. My brother is dyslexic too so I know all about it.

Once again I didnt mean to cause offence.

:rolleyes:ARGH!

PEACE!

Mon and I talked:sly: about this today....

We want you in.

Remember the 6 P's: Proper Precrace Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

Will be @ Highspeedring in a few minutes....

Edit:

Testdriver :sly: was too tired, but turn 2 needs attention! A spin there will kill your tires most!:scared:

Looks like we will do 100 laps. But that will be confirmed tomorrow.

gnite!
