Note the “Performance Difference Bonus” applies, so more credits will be awarded for using a slower car below the maximum allowed PP value.

Didn't had time yet to check it out...

All tracks with Jaguar E-type coupe 61 at 450pp, easily, will try other cars. Sarthe penalties for collision.
gift Guilia TZ2

Awful Eifel Kart again. Why, from all of the tracks they can use do they keep using this track???

Did the first race before work this morning with my Lamborghini Miura, detuned engine to get 500pp (~75%), ran an ugly race for the first couple of laps, including a spin, but still won by over 20 seconds. This is the first time I have laped 2 back markers in an event. Lap average was around 1:03.

Followed gIN and used the Miura and of course finished between 20 and 30 secs in front in each race. The prize car, the Giulia TZ2 sounds interesting (engine note) , may give it a run tomorrow if it's able to be used.

Anyway, a change from using the 2J at Sarthe in the dark. May try PP reductions in different cars on the morrow.

One of the more fun events. After a few failed attempts on the first race trying to establish the car I was going to use. I ultimately used the 427 s/c 66' tuned down. I could have used a less powerful car but it was fun bouncing off cars in corners. Comfort soft tires can kiss my comfort soft arse. Sarthe is my favorite track besides mountain trial. Good luck

My usual video is up now, hopefully some of you will enjoy it or find it useful.

oink83- That's really nice of you to spend the time making these videos so quickly. I'm sure it helps lots of folks. Thanks.

I used a used AC 427 Super Charged. Down tuned to 500PP - I think with a load of ballast.

Car was pretty good fun, lots of top speed and good acceleration, it does struggle in corners and doesn't like over driving as the comfy tyres will overheat.

The car is more than enough to win even with mistakes on the first lap.

The 2005 La Sarthe is nice, feels tighter - but if you get a car with top speed this should be very easy - The AC had the lead by Mulsanne Corner...

Cars to watch out are the Fairlady 2000 and the Ginetta G4 - but compared to my Big V8 they were "All too easy" -

Nice vid Oink - Made a silk purse out of that one.

Havin' a blast w the 64' G4 in this one .. great car frm th OCD .. nice to just cruise for a bit 👍

The morrow; Tried the prize car, the Giulia TZ2, but couldn't catch the G4 Ginetta rabbit which is the length of the straight away from the rest of the pack at Tsukuba.
So added mid range turbo, lowered it a bit, bit of -toe in front, added about 30kg weight and played with the LSD and had another go. This time the Nissan Silvia was on pole and I won by 20 secs.
So started again with the G4 on pole to see the difference and won by just 4.8 secs.
Clearly the car on pole position has a bearing on your chances in an ordinary car.

Just beat this series using cosmo sport L10B @ 475pp
Ginetta G4 in tsukuba is impossible to beat i guess

Running my Shelby GT350 at about 475 PP and came in 1st on 2 tracks. Classic looking car running around and with Titanium Racing Exhaust it's sounds so sweet! Especially when shifting. Usually the TRE makes a car sound worse but I think this is an exception.
Gonna enjoy lots of cars through this one.

Just won at Sarthe with a Cosmo Sport tuned to 410PP.
186hp...893kg....57kg ballast....100%power.
I'll try it at Tsukuba but likely there are better cars for this race than the Cosmo, but at this time I'm not sure which ones they are.

$1,572,200 exp 151480.

PS, congrats on 1st post here Furanz.

Thanks man

And yeah, sarthe is the easiest among those tracks. I'm just too lazy to detune my cosmo for sarthe :P

Tried to use G4, but i think it is worse than cosmo imo. That car just can't turn well

Good to know. I used mine in the older version of this seasonal event. I'll tune it up for this version too, and give the race exhaust a try.

The Z28 RM sounds brilliant, but it was an easy win at Rome Circuit. It was much better set up than my frisky, overpowered Cobra, which I tried on my first attempt and lost by a couple secs. I'll see if I can tweak the Cobra for future use.

I had a '63 Z06 race car and used that at Le Sarthe. The G4 is just stupid fast, but once I overtook it, I opened up a much bigger lead than I thought I should have. Almost as if the AI gave up...but it's overall time was still two secs faster(5:02) than it was on my first attempt at the race(using the Alfa TZ2), where it took the win (5:04).

I used a '63 Corvette on Trial Mountain and won on my first attempt.

Trying to decide on a small car for Tsukuba.

I tried to buy a 300SL and tune it for this event. You can't even get it up to 500pp, but the folks who like a challenge should be okay with that. I wasn't cool with it, at least not for my first run through the event. I ended up not using it. :grumpy:

Used my Camaro Z28 RM at Tsukuba detuned to 417PP...165hp....1153kg and won.

$1,517,795....xp 143639.

Be interested to hear which other cars are trying with reduced PP's.

Hello everybody,

This is my first post. Happy to be a part of this community.

I won all the games with a Corvette stingray 69. If you are not able to beat the G4, just exit and enter the game till you get some other car in the front.

First race done, had tried g4,e type and 300sl.got myself in the cobra and did it first go,even beat the g4 rabbit, total time,7m43.

Had great fun with a Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car ‘67, With dirty oil detuned to 467.pp 224.bhp 992.kg. Power down to 50%. Downforce to minimum. Max Weight added.

All done in cobra, scope for lots of cash if needed,Rome especially, took the lead on lap 3 there so power reduction should be no problem.

Meh... 500pp Cobra 427, everything off, no sissy ABS, for the AMERICAN win. EZ gold wins Yes I know it's a Brit AC but it took an 'Mercan Ford engine to make it great. Speaking if Brits I had fun booting and Dale Earnhardting that little G4 off the track on lap 2 of every race. Can stand that little thing. Speaking of cars that should NOT be in GT6, how about the Ginetta G4.

Ha ha, way to go Neon, 500PP Cobra 427 with everything off would be a beast in most hands but clearly you are capable of taming it, and claimed the win for your country to boot. Which incidentally was made great by Europeans some years ago.
But that's another story.

So have you managed to win one of these races at a lower PP? I have, and in a Yank tank no less.

390PP ..204hp ..1690kg (200kg bal)
$1,690,880 xp165120. And it's goodnight from me.

Yes I won the first four with the AC Cobra, braking set 10/4 with engine detuned and the gearing set for each track to maximize acceleration and give adequate top speed. Otherwise standard tune. Very easy to win. I've given up driving cars on Kart tracks so won't be doing the last race, I find the narrowness and silly layout of Eifel Kart iterations incredibly annoying and a waste of time when I could be having fun on another track.

Won all five with the Alfa Romeo Guilta Carrazotto completely stock, but it took me two goes to win three of the races, really need to avoid the Ginetta G4..
