Here are some pictures of my R6. Older members know, I wanted this thing bad. About to go ride it right now, figured I would take some pictures of it first and then post them. Its dirty I apologize for it being dirty, but I haven't had the chance to clean it. I have been riding it to much.

Pretty cool huh? I love her. Her name is Kaida, it means little dragon in Japanese.

:D

I don't think the top speed is correct, I have gotten it to 145mph, and she has plenty of room to grow. I knew someone that got theres up to 189mph, but I don't think I'll be hitting that. Personal perference.

Straight roads, no traffic, and a whole lotta guts. Trust me when I say though, it is not tough to get there. You look down, and you think "holy crap what did that thing say?" The cool thing is Yamaha's are digital, so there is no doubt. My bro in law's Honda Blackbird is dial, so he always kinda guesses when we fly. He doesn't want to be figuring out what it says when he is going that fast.

I am impressed with the R6 though. I ride with a 2002 R1 (1000cc), a 1998 Honda Blackbird (1100cc) and a Ducati 750ss (750cc). Trust me when I say, my bike smokes the Ducati and keeps up with the other two.

Your bike is awesome. Simply awesome, man. Congratulations on it.
Though I have to say that for the German highways I'd rather have taken a R1, if I had the oppurtunity to. :D
I already thought about buying either a R6 or the YZF 750R. So I can at least somewhat compete with my brother's Yamaha XJR 1300. 👍
Anyways, if you are gonna take some more photos of your motorcycle, I'd love to see them! =)

Don't kill yourself.

Trust me, I don't plan on it.

More pictures... sure! I'll post some night ones I took, not the greatest quality, but you can see her all lit up. Thats right, she glows... 45 LED's so far, and plan adding more. Colors you ask? White and Blue. I'll post those soon.

Well it took me a solid two days. It killed my weekend. About 12-15 hours each day. I bought all my LED's through ebay. Which means I saved a ton of money, but they don't come with resistors. So after finding out what type of resistance they needed I went to a local electrical supply store and bought tons of resistors and a sottering(sp?) iron. I figured out then that I could put 4 LED's on one resistor. Each one had to be sottered to their resistor, then each set of four had to be wired down to one power wire and one negative. Standard stuff. Everywhere a panel broke, I put break away splice connectors, so I can remove each panel without worring about the lights. It was a pain, but it looks really good. I have only done the front half of the bike, but plan to do the backside soon.

I'll post the pictures I have it lit up soon. Their on my girlfriends camera. :)

Niceness. I wonder if they are like invisible from the outside until you light them up, but it seems rather hard, since there are so many LEDs! But I 'm still excited about it. Tell your girlfriend to hurry up! *lol*
How is it with battery usage? Does it eat up alot? And what about the heat in the engine?
Anyways, if your pictures impress me a lot, I'll try to convince my brother to do that on his XJR 1300. =)

145mph is still quite good for a bike. But thats like hitting the death barrior if you mess up.

Not for sport(s)bikes, any 600cc can hit 135mph+, my uncle has tested his R1 at 240km/h. That's amazingly fast! Some dangerous speeds, but he is an awesome rider.

Good luck with the R6, Magic. Look's amazingly sexy with the tinted windscreen. :dopey: I want a CBR600RR.

All I gotta say, is nice job editting your post. Good thing I caught it before you editted.

If you can read what you said:

Thats what I was responding to. Its obvious you didn't catch that. Bit slow today?

That was good for a laugh but man, has something like this always have to happen in the good threads? STOOOOOP IT, GUUUUUUYS!! Dayum!
And now, let's focus on the thread again. *_*

Actually you may have not noticed, but I did smartest thing I've ever done on GTPlanet.

Wanna know what that is?

Click This.

My GTP experience is much better because I don't have to read posts from an immature dumbass.

I didn't want to ruin this thread or any other thread your trying to give me a go at, so I exited the thread, but your being a dumbass, and I'm not gonna go and start crying in a corner like you did. 👍

This is a perfectly good thread, don't screw it up, by thinking your all that, honestly Darin, your not.

Congratulations. You've screwd up a thread.

Now back to topic.

Yo, Magic, about the night a dusk pictures. can it be just at dusk. It'll look awesome.

No, that's not correct, Darin. I'm sorry to say that, but you did it. He was unlucky when choosing his words (whatever the reason was) and you started to make fun of him. It'd be okay with me in the bad threads or in any thread in the whole drifter's forum but please stop it in the good threads. =(

Well, yeah. We both did it. I'll say I started it. But look in the mustang thread in the GT4 forums.. He earned what he got.

Now, can we go back to topic now?

Sorry guys, I'll try to get them up tonight. Been running around doing other things! I'll answer all the questions when I post the pics.
