I've run this series quite a few times over the last couple of years; 6 100% games, plus several other times with each F1 car, as well as with the "Big 3" S class cars...
Recently, a few of us reran this series at the House of GT (slowpoke, GTMich, GTSR and myself) comparing lap and total times. I made a record of the series as I ran it and decided it would make an interesting write-up.
I started by testing in Free Run, and once I had a satisfactory setup, I saved it to my memory card, so I could just load it as I progressed through the series.
After testing, I acquired a new F094/s and set off for the FGTC.
Note: All transmission settings were done using the Tranny glitch (Final all the way right, Autoset all the way left, adjust Final as required), and then the Final Ratio for each given track.
I did not use TCS or ASM.
One thing Pokey and I noticed is that during Qualifying, it felt as if the game switched back to default settings, other than the transmission settings. At each track, during Qualification, the car felt very sluggish in it's response, and required extreme input with the wheel/throttle...

Fast lap - 50.874 (nice two car draft on the main straight)
Total time - 27:36.260
MOV - 3 laps on the F094/s
Fairly easy race, as even with worn tire, the F094/s responds well to this track. There were several nice drafting opportunities, but the two car draft mid race was especially sweet.

I usually hate this track, but this was one of my better efforts, here. Most laps were in the mid to high 1:06's.
At one point I thought I had a shot at bobkart's 46:39.210 Race Record at GTTimes, but the 2nd half of the race was very inconsistant, with some "guard rail induced" 1:09's and 1:10's.

This is a very hard track on tire wear. I decided to take a 4 lap pit strategy because for me, GVS is one of my worst red tire tracks.

I know that most people hate this race, but I really enjoy it. Since I decided to run without pitting, it was interesting to develop the rhythm for the short end of the track. Before the tires wore out, I took each lap flat footed, no braking. Once the tires were worn, I had to lift, brake, and downshift on the short end to stay off the wall. Even though I had quite a few nice draft opportunities, I never could match lap 4 because of the tire wear.

I would have thought the tire wear would not have been as bad here as it was, but I was pushing the car pretty hard, drifting several of the turns for maximum exit speed, so I had to go with the 5 lap pit strategy.

This is a fun track in the F1 car, but it can be fairly treacherous. I softened the dampers a bit, to allow the car to "undulate" a bit through the hilly chicane, and maximized the rear downforce to maintain top speed through the long left hand sweeper.

5 lap strategy on the first half, 4 lap strategy to finish
On my best laps, I was able to "grab" the rumble strip on the long left sweeper, and could maintain a speed of 165 to 170 through the entire turn. If I missed hooking up on the rumble strip, I was forced to lift, or at least feather the throttle to avoid sliding off to the right. Top speed in those cases dropped to about 150, and resulted in about .75 to 1 second slower lap time.

Suprisingly, I only had once decent draft opportunity in this race...the F094/s about midrace. I caught him just after the final turn, and blew by him at rev limit befoee I got to the Start/Finish...should have stretched the final drive just a bit. The only other times I had to deal with the AI was usually in turns, resulting in an off-lap (I tried to avoid any contact with the AI in this eries).

This is just a grueling race. Even if you try to get into a rhythm, 78 laps is a long race...
There are very few opportunities for a good draft; the straights, for the most part, are just not long enough. If you manage to get a good slipstream pass on the AI, the idiot is all over you when you brake for the ensuing turn.
I utilized the "E-brake" method in the tight hairpin, except at the end of a tire run, when the tire were slippery. Coming out of the previous, bigger hairpin, I'd accelearte downhill, just making the shift to 4th gear. As soon as I made that shift, I'd tap the normal brake and then simultaneously downshift to second while tapping E-Brake. Done correctly, this saves up to half a second a lap. If done on worn tires, however, you stand a chance of a complete spinout.

Overall, I was pretty happy with my performance. I was very satisfied with the settings (perhaps a bit taller Final Drive on the Tokyo setup) and I plan on trying for some Race Records at GT3Times with a fresh F094/s sometime in the future.
